    Located inside the New Chitose Airport terminal building, Royce’ Chocolate World is a chocolate-related entertainment facility operated by Royce’ Confect Co., Ltd. Inside the facility there is a small-scale chocolate factory where visitors can watch chocolate being made through a transparent glass window, a museum with displays on the raw materials used to make chocolate, the history of chocolate, and other chocolate-related topics. There is also a shop selling the confectionery and pastries made in the factory. Both children and adults will have a great time here.

    A winery located a 15-minute drive from New Chitose Airport. The winery has been creating flavorful, fruity wines since it was founded in 1988. The winery's principal products are its haskap wine, made with the haskap berries which are one of Chitose's specialty products; and its Kita Wine, a pinot noir made with Kerner grapes notable for its mellow flavor and fruity aroma. The winery's cool, full-bodied, wines, redolent with fruit flavor, make perfect souvenirs and gifts. Located close to the airport, the winery is also a great place to spend some time while waiting to get on your flight.

    Kirin Beer Hokkaido Chitose Brewery is a brewery the design concept for which aimed to create a “brewery that reflects the spirit of Hokkaido by being in harmony with nature.” The “Secrets of Kirin First-press Beer Experience Tour” brewery tour, which gives visitors the opportunity to learn about the special secrets and attention to detail that underpin the deliciousness of Kirin Beer, and also provides a sensory experience of the production process, is very popular. Following the tour, visitors have the opportunity to taste freshly-made beer. Besides the regular brewery tours, this brewery also holds a variety of special events throughout the year; Kirin Beer Hokkaido Chitose Brewery is an “open” brewery that maintains close links with the local community, and has won the hearts of many people.

    This tour needs to improve and be upgraded. Video and audio needs update. Anyway the free sample at the tour end was a good gesture .
