A factory that processes Suntory Okudaisen Natural Mineral Water at Mt. Daisen, known for its great springs. With abundant snowfall and a beautiful natural environment, the area from southern Mt. Daisen (the highest peak in the Chugoku region) to the prefectural border with Okayama, is ideal for wonderful water. It's processed with thorough quality control while maintaining its pure natural flavor. They also have a factory tour with project mapping where you can check out the production line. The snow strage room used to cool the equipment is a must-see. They also hold tastings of their Suntory Natural Mineral Water brand.

This Kazuwa ware pottery studio is located close to the Kurayoshi Interchange on National Route 313. The original head, Otokichi, created pottery in the Kyoto style; the second generation head, Saburo (Funyu), added local color; the current, third generation head of the studio, Shin (Hakuga), inherits these traditions while making pieces utilizing new techniques. The area where the studio is located on the west side of the city is also known for the many Jomon period pottery pieces which have been excavated there. The area has an abundance of rough textured clay, and since ancient times it has been known for its production of everyday items. The studio's gallery has an irori sunken hearth, and numerous examples of Kazuwa ware are displayed in its old fashioned confines; all are welcome to view them with an advance reservation. The studio also offers a pottery making activity in which you can make a mug or Japanese tea bowl.

"This Japanese washi paper studio is located in Saji-cho, a district rich in natural beauty and surrounded by mountain and river. The studio makes and sells Inshu washi, a traditional paper which is stated to have even been presented to the emperor in the ancient, Heian-period compilation of government regulations called the ""Engi-shiki."" Made using the bast fibers of paper mulberry, Oriental paper bush, and Diplomorpha sikokiana, washi leverages the innate qualities of natural fibers to produce a paper that is elegant, supple, and elastic to the touch. The techniques of making Inshu washu have only been passed down in Tototri City's Saji-cho and Aoya-cho; during the Edo period, the paper was widely used for official documents by the Tottori Domain government, and by the common people as well. The studio can be identified by its triangular roof. The studio offers a paper making activity as well."
