    This park is in Tendoaza Shiroyama in Tendo City. Familiar to locals as a symbol of the city, there's an outlook on the summit with views of Mt. Gassan and the Mogami River, as well as a barbecue area. It's a popular cherry blossom spot, and they hold the Tendo Sakura Festival in the spring along with its famous Human Shogi (Japanese Chess) tournament.

    Some 10 thousand tree peonies spanning 550 varieties as well as 20 thousand Chinese peonies spanning 250 varieties are grown on the vast, approximately 60 thousand square meter grounds of this botanical garden. During the peak blooming period in early summer, the garden sees many visitors. The garden is open from late April to May.

    So many beautiful flowers in such a peaceful setting. Our grandmother does watercolor painting of flowers so we plan to take her there this coming season.

    "A Buddhist temple located a three-minute walk from the ""Chushojima"" municipal bus station. Known as the ""Shima no Benten-san,"" the temple was established in 1699 by Takebe Masanoki. The main temple building enshrines a statue of Benzaiten, the temple is believed to grant worshippers aid in improving various performing arts abilities. The temple grounds are a renowned destination for cherry blossom viewing and in late March a variety of weeping cherries called the ""ito-zakura"" comes into bloom, making these the earliest flowering weeping cherries in Kyoto. The temple is also famous for its coin sized, shellfish-shaped amulets which are said to bring good luck."

    The Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, most of which is located in the Chubu Sangaku National Park, is one of the world’s great mountain sightseeing routes. Non-commercial vehicles cannot travel within the Alpine route, which is linked by six other modes of transportation, such as highland buses, and ropeways. The grandeur of nature through each of the four seasons inspires many feelings and emotions. Approximately one hour by car to Ogizawa parking lot from Azumino Interchange on the Nagano Expressway.

    This is a Jodoshu (Pure Land sect of Buddhism) temple in Ogigayatsu, Kamakura City. Its honorific mountain name is Tokozan and it is Kamakura’s only nunnery, founded by the nun Eisho-in. It was called the Mito Palace and the Mito Convent since daughters of the Mito clan served as the chief nun in the times before the Meiji period. Several areas on the temple grounds have been designated as Important Cultural Properties, including the temple building, which bears the vestiges from the time of its establishment, the main temple gate, and the belfry.

    Designated as a National Natural Monument in 1922, and chosen as one of Japan's New 100 Best Trees, the Yamataka Jindai-zakura cherry is in Jissoji Temple, whose historical buildings were all lost due to two fires. However, it does feature the Jindai-zakura cherry-over 2000 years old-which blooms beautifully every peak season in early April, much to the delight of hanami visitors. Also, in the vast precincts, you will find 30 cherry trees ages 50 to 100, and roughly 100,000 daffodils and tulips planted in the flower garden.

    2023年は、各地の桜は異例の速さで満開を迎えましたが実相寺の桜も03月下旬が見ごろでした。訪問したのは平日の昼前でしたが周辺の駐車場はほぼ満車状態でした。駐車料金は500円が中心で一部400円のところもありました。山高神代桜も頑張って 咲いていました。水仙畑とのコラボレーションも魅力も一つです。

    A renowned destination for enjoying bigleaf hydrangea in Katahara Onsen. The area around Hodagaike Pond in the center of the hot spring district is maintained as a bigleaf hydrangea garden and has become a famous sightseeing spot. At the present time, more than 50 thousand hydrangea plants of varying colors and sizes are grown around the pond. The best time to see the hydrangea flowers is from June 1 to 30, and during this time a hydrangea festival is also held in the area. Special busses operate during the festival and a variety of events like haiku recitations and rare hydrangea exhibitions are held. At night, the area is lit up, giving visitors the chance to enjoy the beauty of the hydrangea in a way different from that of the day.

    昨年は開催が中止でしたが、今年は開催という事で訪れましたが、駐車場も満員でかなり待ちましたが、紫陽花の素晴らしさに感動でした。 広大な敷地にたくさんの種類の紫陽花が咲きほこり、圧巻でした。紫陽花に囲まれた階段を上がり、上から見下ろした景色も素晴らしかったです。 不安が続く状況ですが、あまりの素晴らしさに癒されました。

    狭い道を少し上がって行くと展望台があるらしく行ってみたが全然良く無い。 車は4台位は止めれてトイレはあるが眺めが全然良く無い!! 下の駐車場がある所に行って少し歩くと、千枚田の良い眺めが見れます。 カカシさんが居て癒されます。

    This park is a famous cherry blossom viewing spot along the banks of the Okawa River. The riverside park runs from the Owaka River's Kemaaraizeki to the downstream Tenma Bridge and has water, greenery and cherry trees. There are approx. 4,800 cherry trees that line the 4.2 kilometers of the park, and it becomes a spectacular spot to view cherry blossoms bustling with many people when they are in bloom. Along the park, besides Japan's first gas lamps and retro brick buildings such as one that houses a mint, there is also a water plaza and promenade, making it an ideal place for relaxing strolls. In addition, the park has barrier-free access.

    This variety of cherry tree is found in abundance in the town of Kawazu Town, Kamo County, Shizuoka Prefecture, where it blooms earlier than other varieties, from early February to early March. Kawazu-zakura line the Kawazu River for several kilometers from the mouth of the river near Kawazu Station. The Kawazu-zakura Festival is held in the area each year from around February 10 to March 10. Some 150 festival stalls open up shop during the event, and the festival grounds bustle with tourists. The cherry trees are also lit up at night, creating a lovely spectacle. The original Kawazu-zakura ancestor tree still stands in the garden of the Iida Residence in Kawazu, and the tree’s lovely spring blossoms can be viewed even from the nearby sidewalk.
