    A five-minute walk from Umegaoka Station, and a seven-minute walk from Higashi-Matsubara Station. This public park is notable for its plum grove, which was planted in 1967. Since that time, several additional trees have been planted to commemorate various events, and today the grove consists of around 650 trees spanning 60 varieties. From early February through early March when the trees are in full bloom, the park holds a plum blossom festival which attracts large numbers of sightseers from across the country. The park's full array of facilities also includes tennis courts and baseball fields as well as a playground.

    Just 1 station away from Gotokuji Station where where a lot of tourists goes to visit Gotokuji Temple. I enjoyed my time there, strolling and taking in the plum blossom sights. It was a lovely...

    This park is located in Yugawara Town, Ashigarashimo County. This park, noted for its beautiful plum blossoms, is famous for the Plum Banquets, held during the peak season every year around early February to mid-March. During the plum season, many events are planned including Nogaku plays and night lighting of the blossoms which draws many couples and viewers. One can also enjoy the plum flavor soft-serve ice cream, only available at the Yugawara Plum Grove.

    This municipal park is in Gifu City. It's a well-known plum blossom spot with 50 varieties of plum trees including 700 white-blossomed plum trees and 600 red-blossomed plum trees. The best time to see them in bloom is from February to March. It has a large park area and a lawn where children can play. A D51 locomotive was donated to the park in 1974 for viewing and children's education. The Gifu Bairin Plum Festival is held annually on the first weekend in March, with a variety of plum related events.

    Nice park during the sakura time, we get there just week before to start sakura. Theres a old train and you can jump in if you want. Good place to do picnic in a sunny day.

    A grove of plum trees located on the southern tip of Nishiharima a 30-minute drive from the Tatsuno-nishi interchange. Visitors can view numerous kofun burial mounds and other historic sites on the grounds. The best time to enjoy the park's plum blossoms is from late February to early March, and throughout this time period events such as haiku tournaments and landscape photography contests are held. Events are also often held here on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, including trained monkey shows, live koto performances, and plum seed spitting contests. Additional highlights include stone monuments inscribed with haiku written by famous visitors inspired by the sight of Mt. Ayabe plum grove, and a seasonal farm fresh shop which sells fresh-picked unripe plums for cooking.

    2月下旬に訪問。 登り口には五分咲きの案内。 登り口側の駐車場だと無料。 頂上近くにの駐車場までいくと1日500円。 体力のある人は登り口で駐車した方が少しお得です。 観梅料は一人400円。 五分咲きといえども価値はありました。 播磨灘をバックに綺麗な梅の写真がたくさん撮れました。 しかし、せっかくの中国風の建物のメンテナンスがされておらず、廃れてる感が残念。

    Tsukigase Plum Ravine is a forest of plum trees that extends along the Satsuki River (part of Nabari River) ravine. One of the three largest plum forests in Nara Prefecture, it is well known as a site for viewing blossoms. About 10,000 plum trees grow there, and during blossom season, the entire forest is a riot of red and white flowering trees. The Tsukigase Plum Ravine Festival, held during blossom season, attracts large numbers of tourists.

    関東の三大梅林に入っていないのは歴史的に新しい事が理由らしい 量的には勝る 少し不安になる細い道を車で登り頂上エリアに着く 平日でも駐車場は混んでいる 売店や食堂は半分くらい閉まっていた 食事とシートを用意してピクニックで行くのが良さそうです

    "AnpachiHyakuBaien is a park located about a 15-minute drive from the Gifu-Hashima Interchange on the Meishin Expressway. The 3.9-hectare park contains more than 1200 plum trees of 100 different varieties, the largest number of varieties anywhere in Japan. It is open from late January to late March, so that visitors can see the early blooming winter red plum and the late-blooming Kaiun and Rinshi plums over a long period of time. From mid February to mid March, a sort of ""plum festival"" is held, with food booths featuring udon noodles, rice dumplings in a sweet teriyaki sauce, and bean jam desserts. Visitors can also buy fresh vegetables in Anpachi Town, processed agricultural products, and specialty items and view an exhibition of miniature bonsai plum trees."

    154種1200本以上の梅が楽しめる施設です、2月初めに訪れましたが数本の開花のみでした。それでも数組の来園者がありピーク時は結構な人手になるでしょうね。駐車場は無料ですが台数は多くないようです

    This park is located in Kurosaki Mitsu-cho, Tatsuno City. The grounds have been planted with some 1,200 Asian plum trees spanning around 300 varieties gathered from Japan, China, Taiwan, South Korea, and other countries around the world. Chinese-style structures built in the park exude an exotic atmosphere and include a plum museum and an observatory with a commanding view of the Seto Inland Sea. An admission fee is required to enter the park when the plum trees are in bloom from mid-February to late March, and during this time the Mitsu Plum Festival is also held on the grounds.

    入り口から有料ゲートまでのしだれ梅が咲き終わっていたため、入園を諦めました。 すぐ近くの田畑で、菜の花祭り中でそちらを見て満足して帰りました。

    A plum garden located a 20-minute walk from Ikegami Station on the Tokyu Ikegami Line in Ota Ward, Tokyo. The Japanese plum is the official flower of Ota Ward, and around 370 plum trees grow in the garden, blooming with red and white flowers in early spring. Some 800 azaleas and other plants and trees are also grown in the garden, plus there are tearooms and a Japanese-style room.
