- A café you’ll be sure to want to visit when strolling about Dazaifu. Gessho, former head priest of the Joju-in Temple in the Kiyomizu-dera Temple, once stayed at the location where Ishin no Iori now operates. The café is famous for its Umegae mochi rice cakes and its matcha green tea. On clear days patrons can enjoy the café’s garden with their order. A two-minute walk from Dazaifu Station on the Nishi-Nippon Railroad Dazaifu Line.

- A shop located along the approach to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine that specializes in Dazaifu's local Umegaemochi treat (a bean paste filled rice dumpling that is compressed and grilled). Their umegaemochi, which is made with Miyabi adzuki beans from Hokkaido's Tokachi region, features a refined sweetness and gentle mouthfeel and is sold freshly grilled at the front of the shop or can be enjoyed with a cup of matcha green tea or coffee in their second-floor cafe.

六本木の友人のお店でテイクアウト料理をオーダーしたら「きくち」さんの冷凍「梅が枝餅」をお土産でいただきました。太宰府には幼い頃から何度も行ってますが、有名な「かさの家」さんのものしか知らず、今回初めて聞きました。レンジで30秒チンしていただきました。なかなか美味しかったですよ。自然解凍が一番おいしいかもしれません。

鳥栖アウトレットに行く途中、日曜日の朝に利用しました。外観はカッコイイ、店内の雰囲気も良く、そんなに混んでなかったので、落ち着いた気持ちで朝食を楽しむ事ができました。珍しくソファ席に座れて良かったです。暖かくなったら、テラスで過ごすのもいいかな。
