- Ehime Pref. Matsuyamashi Dougokitamachi 3-18
- Located a 5-minute walk from Dogo Onsen Station, the Nikitatsu kaiseki cuisine restaurant is annexed to an old sake wine cellar facing the Nigitatsu road. Directly operated by Mizukuchi Shuzo sake brewery, a large variety of Japanese wines can be enjoyed including Daiginjoshu Sanjugo and junmai, Iyo no Usuzumizakura, as well as shochu, and the Dogo microbrew. The meal courses, artistically arranged in kaiseki style, are centered around fresh sashimi distinctively served in wooden-tubs. This cuisine can be economically enjoyed during lunch hours, along with other dishes such as tempura bowl-set dishes. Nikitatsu-an also offers a local Dogo beer and snack set.

店頭で焼きおにぎりを焼いているので思わず一つ購入。 中に入っているうなぎは小さいものの、とてもこおばしくて美味しい。100円なので満足!!
Ehime Areas
Stretched across the northwest corner of Shikoku island, Ehime is a nature-rich prefecture boasting beautiful coastlines and a rural center where mountains play host to 26 of the Buddhist temples that make up the Shikoku Pilgrimage. Matsuyama is home to an original post-feudal castle as well as Dogo Onsen, one of the country’s oldest natural hot springs. The northern city of Imabari marks the entrance to the Shimano Kaido, a road that crosses six spectacular bridges and several islands, forming a route between Shikoku and mainland Honshu.
