"Mein Schloss is a beer hall located a five-minute walk from Hamamatsu Station or a 20-minute drive from the Tomei Hamamatsu Interchange. The building looks like a castle and is distinguished by a clock right over the entrance. It serves local beer made at the brewery located on the grounds. Everything is German, from the restaurant's decor to the origin of the malt to the brewing methods. At any given time, customers can enjoy four kinds of beer, and there are also ""limited editions"" available only for a short time. The food menu includes a full range of German cuisine, pizza, desserts, and other items."

Shizuoka Areas

around-area-map

With the giant Pacific Ocean to the south and the great Mount Fuji to the north, Shizuoka prefecture is blessed with some of the best views the country has to offer. The white sand beaches of the Izu Peninsula are a rare find on mainland Japan, neighbored by beautiful cliffs, tumbling hills, and natural hot springs. As Japan’s largest producer of green tea, the age-old tradition of tea drinking is ubiquitous in Shizuoka, from the miles of tea fields to the old tea houses hosting traditional tea ceremonies.
