    A roadside station standing along Prefectural Route 79 in Shigenootsu, Tomi City. The station sells confections and processed foods made with Nagano chestnuts, a local specialty product, as well as local agricultural products. The station's restaurant serves dishes made with local Hoe pork, while the cafe offers chestnut soft serve ice cream. The area was also the hometown of the famous Edo period sumo wrestler Raiden Tameemon, and a statue of the man stands on the station's grounds.

    With an elevation of 2,000 meters it is said to be the highest roadside station in Japan. From here you can see the Northern Alps (Hida Mountains), Mt. Asama and Sakudaira. In the popular Observatory Terrace, you can enjoy coffee and soft ice-cream while looking out over superb views. There is also a restaurant and a shopping area. The place has become well-known among tourists as a roadside station where visitors can take a relaxing break. The Utsukushi-Gahara Open-Air Museum next door (entrance fee 1,000 yen) has up to 350 outstanding sculptures on display outside covering a wide area. It is well worth a visit especially in summer when the alpine flowers are at their best.

    A roadside station situated along the Ueda-Sakaki Bypass in Shiodagawara, Koizumi, Ueda City. The station has a shop selling farm-fresh produce and local specialty products; a restaurant serving renowned Chikuma River sweetfish meals; a gallery; outdoor stage; dog park; and a dome-shaped inflatable trampoline modeled after the station's own mascot, Nyan. The station also makes use of the surrounding natural environment, holding outdoor tours, in addition to music classes.

    馬鹿バーガー、おしぼりうどん、馬肉うどん、千曲川名物鮎の定食、桑の実ソフトなどご当地のグルメが楽しめます。近くにはドックランがあり犬を連れた方も多いです。岩鼻が近くで見られます。

The station's restaurant serves dishes made with local ingredients as well as a lunchtime all-you-can-eat buffet which includes some 40 dishes. In addition, the station has a workshop used to hold soba noodle making and cooking classes.

The Yasuragi no Yu day trip hot spring bathhouse is also located on the grounds.

    "This roadside station is on Prefectural Route 40 in Nunoshita, Tomi City. Its hot spring facility, called ""Nunohiki Onsen Mimaki no Yu,"" has an outdoor bath with a view of Mt. Asama. Its restaurant Mimakien serves local cuisine, and it has a farm stand, too. There is also a tennis court, a hot spring pool, and a gateball field."
