    Located a one-minute walk from Tama-Plaza Station, this is the smallest of the four areas which make up the Tama Plaza Terrace mall just to the left of the station's central ticket gate main entrance. The area can be reached by crossing the Link Bridge from the central Gate Plaza area. Consisting of four floors, a 100-yen shop, a coffee shop, a bank, and an acupuncture and moxibustion clinic can be found on floors one and two; an elderly daycare service and clinic are on floor three; and a nursery school is on floor four. The area is filled with establishments of relevance to the daily lives of area residents.

    This shopping mall, established in 1949, is a seven-minute walk from Ishikawacho Station and 10 minutes from Motomachi-Chukagai Station. The mall stands right on the other side of Sekiteibyo-dori Street from the Yokohama Overseas Chinese School. Over 20 tenants occupy its three aboveground floors, and its most notable feature is the fact that here you can find a variety of unique, Yokohama-based establishments all under one roof, including fortune telling parlors, fashionable apparel shops, accessories shops, and boutiques. There's also a cafe and Japanese-style sweets cafe where you can enjoy a meal after going shopping.

    The shopping street stretches to the south of Hakone-Yumoto Station on the Hakone Tozan Railway, the gateway to Hakone where the limited express Romance Car also stops, and is lined with a variety of stores, making it a good place to take a leisurely stroll, buy souvenirs, or just enjoy a bite to eat. The stores selling sweets are also popular among tourists, as they offer a variety of Japanese and Western-style products that look great in SNS photos.

    Great view of the bay and great beer stand. The food shops are also worth a visit. Just a short walk from Mikasa Park. Really nice little place to stop and take a break.

Kanagawa prefecture acts as an extension of the Tokyo metropolis that spills over into coastal towns, most notably Yokohama city, heavily populated and known for its Chinatown and seaside attractions. Just the right distance for a day trip out of Tokyo, Kanagawa is home to some of Tokyo’s most accessible beaches, including around Kamakura, best known for its Big Buddha. Visitors can also travel a little farther afield for a weekend at Hakone onsen town.
