    This is a large shopping mall in Mori Town, Nagasaki City. In addition to shops and restaurants, there is a sports gym on the fourth floor and TOHO cinema with nine screens on the sixth floor. The highest point of the Ferris wheel, which is a symbol of the mall, is about 70 meters above the ground and the time it takes to go around is 10 minutes and 51 seconds. A nursing room, and baby strollers are available. It is a three-minute walk from Urakami Station. The mall has a bus terminal adjacent meaning bus access is easy.

    This is a large shopping mall directly linked to JR Nagasaki Station, known as “Amu”. There are about 130 tenants, and on the fourth floor is the United Cinema with eight screens. The restaurant on the fifth floor “Kojoko” is popular for Champon and a dish of udon easily available in front of the station. Nursing room, and strollers to use are available at no charge.

    This is the general name for the Yonkacho Shopping Street, Sankacho Shopping Street and the department store Sasebo Tamaya located in Sasebo City. The shopping streets stretches for approximately one kilometer over seven neighborhoods with nearly 1,600 stores, and is Japan's longest shopping street that goes in a straight line. At the Kirakira Festival held every winter, the inside of the shopping street is illuminated in many colors.

    A shopping mall located in Kawaguchi-machi, Nagasaki City. The mall, modeled after European architecture, is the first in Japan to have a streetcar travelling directly through it. The Nagasaki Electric Tramway Museum is located in the mall and here visitors can see fun streetcar exhibitions. Mall tenants include Western apparel and accessory shops, an import food store, and restaurants. There’s also a free children’s park with a playground. Flea markets, concerts, and a variety of other events are held irregularly on the main floor. Paid parking available.

    A tourism complex located in Minatoshinchi-machi, Shimabara City. The Tottotto Shokudo restaurant operates out of a remodeled storehouse which was used by the lord of the domain in the Edo period and serves seafood rice bowls, sashimi meals, stewed fish set meals, and other dishes made with seafood from the Ariake Sea. The Tottotto Ichiba market sells fresh, live seafood and drive fish. There’s also an oyster grilling hut and fishing ground.

This hidden corner of the country is rural Japan at its best, where underground activity is to thank for active volcanoes and bubbling natural hot springs along the Shimabara Peninsula as well as the crystal clear waters of the Goto Islands off the west coast. Less well known than Hiroshima's Peace Memorial Park, Nagasaki commemorates its own past at the Nagasaki Peace Park, which sits alongside the charming Meganebashi stone bridge and a mix of religious buildings with beautiful architecture, such as the Zen Buddhist Sofukuji Temple, the Confucian Shrine, and the Oura Christian Church.
