LaLaport Yokohama is one of the largest commercial facilities in Kanagawa Prefecture, and has a range of shops from large food stores to TOHO cinemas. It is very crowded on weekends and holidays so public transport is convenient. It is 10 minutes’ walk from JR Kamoi Station. A shuttle bus service is available.

A good mall with many different brands and shops and food choices. There is everything you need here. There is also free parking which is awesome! Recommended!

    Kanagawa Yokohama-shi Tsuzuki-ku Nakagawa Chuo 1-25-1
"This shopping mall, designed around the concept of ""busy northport,"" is located a one-minute walk from exit 2 of Yokohama Municipal Subway Center Kita Station. A free play area for children between zero and five years of age called the Nosupo Hiroba is located next to the service counter on the third floor. The mall holds a variety of events rooted in the local community, including baby art classes, and a baby's birthday festival."

    映画館からゲームセンター、スーパーなどなんでも入っているショッピングモールです。定期的にテナントも入れ替えているのか、開業から時間がそれなりに経っているにも関わらず飽きさせません。

This shopping center is in central Nakagawa, Tsuzuki Ward, Yokohama City. Lots of people visit this family oriented suburban commercial center with its fashion shops, general stores, food shops, and amusement facilities. On the rooftop there is a Ferris wheel, which is the mall's symbol, and it's crowded with families and couples on their days off. The nearest station is Yokohama City Subway's Center-Kita Station.

Just next to Center Kita station is this mall with various floors with various shops. Its decorated well and makes for a pleasant experience. We bought something for the kitchen at the EdOn and had...

A shopping mall connected directly to and just a three minute walk from Yokohama Station. The fashionable building faces the sea and is designed to look like a cruise ship. Here you can go shopping or have a bite to eat while enjoying a sea breeze. The facility is also famous for its fabulous views at night. Bay Quarter hosts around 100 establishments, including fashionable clothing and interior decoration shops, restaurants, and cafes. The cafes, featuring outdoor terrace seating overlooking Yokohama Port, are particularly popular. There’s also a SeaBus boarding area, and you can hope on one to enjoy the sights of Minato Mirai from on the ocean waters as well.

Kanagawa Areas

around-area-map

Kanagawa prefecture acts as an extension of the Tokyo metropolis that spills over into coastal towns, most notably Yokohama city, heavily populated and known for its Chinatown and seaside attractions. Just the right distance for a day trip out of Tokyo, Kanagawa is home to some of Tokyo’s most accessible beaches, including around Kamakura, best known for its Big Buddha. Visitors can also travel a little farther afield for a weekend at Hakone onsen town.
