- This day-trip hot spring is located 150 meters from the Kashitate Onsen-mae bus stop. You can enjoy the flowing hot spring water from the inside of log cabin style buildings made of Hachijojima cedar and cypress. It is a sodium-salt-rich chloride spring, which is reputed to be effective on cuts, nerve pain and chronic women's diseases, and have skin beautifying properties. Due to the luxurious atmosphere created by the woodwork, as well as the reasonable prices, there are many local visitors each day, too. Besides an accessible hot spring with handrails, it also has plenty of amenities such as shampoo and dryers.

島の中心部から一番近い温泉なので、地元の人が多いです。町営温泉施設だからなのか、アルコールは禁止となっています。マッサージ機の利用は無料です。

We visit this twice in 2 days. The staff is friendly. Price is included in the bus pass. The view are gorgeous. Place are clean. A great place to relax.

2日間バス乗り放題・温泉入り放題 BU・S・PA（バスパ）をかうと、温泉は「ふれあいの湯」「ザ・BOON」「やすらぎの湯」「みはらしの湯」が利用できるのですが、いつまでなのかわからないがザ・BOONが休業されていました。でもこのエリアにいったので、前を通ったのですが工事をしているというかんじはなかったです。 もし複数温泉いかれるならバスパ購入しておくとお得です。ザ・BOON当日券 500円です。足...
