A five-minute walk from Niijima Port. This outdoor bath is located a short distance north of Torigashima Island along the road and, excluding when under maintenance, is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Note that bathers must wear a swimsuit. There are six bathing pools decorated in an ancient Greek motif, and one of the bath's biggest draws is the fact you can watch the sunset from here and take in star-filled skies at night. There's also parking nearby, make access convenient. The bath is also replete with a changing area and baggage lockers.

    Tokyo Niijimamura Shikinejima
A natural outdoor hot spring bath is located just west of Shikinejima Port and in between the port and Ashitsuki Onsen. Despite being located almost right on the sea, it is not affected by the tides, and you can also drive a car almost all the way to the bath, making it conveniently accessible. Further, you can use it any time, day or night, 24 hours a day. The bath is supplied by an iron sulfide spring whose waters are said to treat such ailments as nerve pain, rheumatism, and gastrointestinal disorders. There are even toilets and showers nearby. Bathers must wear a swimsuit, so take care not to forget yours. Even if you don't have your suit, however, you can still dip your feet in the water and use it as a soothing footbath. The bath is also lit up in the evening, so be sure to try a nighttime soak if you can.

The qualities of the bathhouse' spring are the same as those of Jinata Onsen, and its waters are said to treat such ailments as nerve pain, rheumatism, and gastrointestinal disorders.

Tokyo Areas

around-area-map

The setting of countless iconic movie scenes and the inspiration for songs, poetry, and literature worldwide, Tokyo barely requires an introduction. It’s hard for the kaleidoscopic neon lights, wacky pop culture, and some of the world’s tallest structures not to instill excitement in any first-time visitor to Tokyo, whether you’re in the very center of the hustle and bustle in Shinjuku or Shibuya or looking in from the quieter suburbs.
