    This museum is located near Senba Park, a 10-minute drive from Mito Station. Along with belongings from Tokugawa Ieyasu other works of art related to the Mito-Tokugawa family, including swords and a war-fan decorated with a pine tree painting, and various historical records are stored. You can also experience a tea-ceremony in the Tokugetsutei tea house, a tea house which had deep ties to the Tokugawa family and which has been relocated here. With reservation you can enjoy the Nariaki Gozen meal on the garden terrace, a contemporary arrangement of a recipe from the Shoku Sai Roku book written by Tokugawa Nariaki, ninth head of the Mito-Tokugawa family.

    夏に友達とのバーベキューに利用しました。バーベキューグリルはアメリカサイズの大きいものからウェーバーという丸型のグリルまであり設備が美女に整っていました。また、軍手や台ふきん、や冷蔵庫など無料で貸し出しをしてくれたので助かりました。場所代として一人1000円くらいなので安いと思いました。

The ""Uchu Tenboto"" tower offers a 360 panoramic view of the area."

    週末早朝訪問。展望台がランドマーク。高齢者のウォーキングに適。スケートボード禁止！の掲示有り。ボーダーにはボ○とかオタ○コとか愚痴をこぼしたい気持ちで山々です。

    私達が行った5月は、思ったより標高が高かった事もあり肌寒い位でした。 受付の並びの高台にフリーサイト・・・10張りと記載されてましたが、5張位じゃないと隣と近くて気になるかも？と。 区画サイトも20サイト程度でこじんまりでしたが、芝生の斜面越しの山の景色が素晴らしく爽快でした！ アスレチックもあったり、トトロが出てきそうな木のトンネルがあったりと子供は大興奮で楽しんでました！ 水辺が近くにないので...

    A local mixed-use complex named after the famous Heian period poet Ono no Komachi, said to have died in Tsuchiura's Ono district, a 30-minute drive from Tsuchiura Station on the JR Joban Line in Ibaraki Prefecture. Inside, visitors will find a local specialty products shop, tourist information corner, Komachi gallery, and educational hall. A soba noodle making class is offered in the activity hall for a small fee and there's also a rest area from which visitors can take in the vast, beautiful scenery of the area. The facility is also adjoined by a farm-fresh shop, cafe, and the Salon Komachi restaurant, which serves Hitachi Aki soba noodles.

    電源なしオートキャンプが１サイト2250円と安い。きっちり区画されたサイトは狭く、繁忙期には隣サイトが近く気になるだろう。

    This park, located about a 40-minute drive from the Chiyoda Ishioka Interchange or the Tsuchiura Kita Interchange off of the Joban Highway, has many various facilities. It not only has been designated as a Suigo-Tsukuba Quasi-National Park, but is also one of the Top 100 Ibaragi Sights, and the Top 100 Nature Scenes of Ibaragi Castle. Inside the park is an observatory from which a panoramic view of Lake Kasumigaoka, the second largest in Japan, can be enjoyed. The park has an aquarium, a history museum, the Ayumian meeting area, a garden of historic dwellings, a forested garden area as well as a lake-side shore area that is popular with families. The aquarium fosters not only the fresh water fish that swim in the Lake Kasumigaura, but also the seemingly phantom fresh water ito fish of the salmon family.

    歩崎公園は水郷筑波国定公園の一部で、帆引き船発祥の地にある公園です。園内には、かすみがうら市交流センターや小さな水族館もあります。無料駐車場があるので、霞ヶ浦を眺めながらくつろげる場所です。

The Dutch windmill which serves as a symbol of the park was erected to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Tsuchiura City; there's an observatory located halfway up the windmill's tower.

    A museum dedicated to preserving Yuki-tsumugi pongee for future generations located a 10-minute walk from the north exit of JR Yuki Station. The museum's grounds enclose several elegant kominka (old Japanese-style house) repurposed into an exhibition hall, shop, and museum hall. Handed down from generation to generation, Yuki-tsumugi was born of human ingenuity and cultivated by the natural abundance of the area. Enwrapped in the museum's quiet, calming atmosphere, visitors can experience the history and beauty of this craft, in addition to being able to purchase high quality silk Yuki-tsumugi goods which are perfect for gifts. There's also a gallery / cafe on the grounds housed in a remodeled old combined shop and house (Misegura) where visitors can enjoy a cup of tea while taking in a standing exhibit.

    結城駅から周辺を散策にて立ち寄りました。無料で入れる場所と有料エリアがあり、有料エリアには結城つむぎの歴史や作品が展示してありました〇

    A municipal park located in Jochu-cho, Ushiku City where visitors can enjoy seasonal flowers. 8,000 square meters in size, some 20 thousand iris plants consisting of around 200 different varieties, such as Japanese and rabbitear irises, grow on the park’s grounds. From early to late June each year, the park fills with beautiful purple, white, and yellow blossoms. The park is equipped with easily walkable paths and viewing platforms. A lovely row of cherry trees standing along the banks of the Inari River bloom in spring, while red spider lilies blossom in September.

    An art museum which preserves and displays works of art by artists connected to Chikusei City such as potter Itaya Hazan and painter Morita Shigeru. The museum is located on the third floor of the Chiiki Koryu Center Arterio down Prefectural Route 305 traveling from JR Shimodate Station. Distinguished by its glass exterior, visitors can also enjoy the sight of Mt. Tsukuba and the surrounding scenery from the building's lobby and sky promenade. In addition to its standing exhibition, the museum holds special exhibitions, workshops, artwork appreciation meets, and a full array of other events. Easily accessible and casual in atmosphere, the museum also serves as a community gathering space.

    下館駅から徒歩10分弱。しもだて地域交流センター「アルテリオ」の3階にある。 入館料は所蔵品展のみの場合は210円、訪館した時は企画展「関由香写真展 ねこうらら」が開催されており600円となっていた。展示室は4室あるが3室は企画展で使用されていたため所蔵品の展示はわずか。作品保護のためと思われるが、所蔵品展の照明は暗くかなり鑑賞しにくかった。

    This science museum, Japan's only one dedicated to nuclear power, is situated along National Route 245 an 18-minute drive from the Hitachi-minami Ota Interchange on the Joban Expressway. The museum contains exhibits which introduce the foundations behind atoms and nuclear energy. Visitors can directly look at, touch, and interact with the things they are learning about through exhibits such as a big screen theater showing computer generated videos and the world's largest cloud chamber, which makes it possible to see the natural radiation that is around us at all times. In addition, exhibits on incidents such as the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster and the Tokaimura nuclear accident convey safe ways of utilizing radiation to future generations.

    エネルギーとしての原子力に関しての展示は少ないです。一番おもしろかったのは空港のX線検査装置ですね。実物を操作できて、こんな風に映るのかと感心しきりでした。見学の所要時間としては1時間あれば十分ですね。

Visitors can see a unique landscape of a wide sand beach and power-generating windmills lined up along the coast, and enjoy a variety of leisure activities, such as swimming, surfing, fishing, and beachcombing. Adjacent to the beach is the Nikkawa Auto Campground. In addition, it is used as the venue for the Kamisu City Motorcycle Beach Race.

    今年は駐車場入り口で、神栖市からの海水浴場閉鎖中という紙を配っていました。来ている人達は三密を避けて、テントを立てて、夏を楽しんでいました。水が冷たいので、私は海水浴をしませんでしたが、海水浴を楽しんでいる人は、監視員がいないので自己責任のもと、比較的浅い所で遊んでいました。 トイレもシャワーもあり、海岸も駐車場も広いですよ。

    篆刻美術館の隣にある赤い建物が古河街角美術館です。に古河市ゆかりの作家を中心に作品が展示されています。入場無料ですこじんまりとした規模ですが、意外と楽しめました。

Specimens on display depict the evolution of marine life from protozoa to whales.

    神社の敷地内にあり コンパクトな博物館でした でも、展示は、まあまあで、茨城県の海の事が解りました。 バスツアーの方が居ましたが見学しない様子ですいていて良かったです

It breeds more than 50 aquatic species of aquatic organisms, with a focus on freshwater fish from the Kuji River and its environs. In addition, they have Japanese giant salamanders on view. These have been designated a National Special Natural Monument. On Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, they offer rides on a ""mini-Shinkansen.”"

    小さい水族館ですが、オオサンショウウオやイトウなど貴重な生物も居ますが、やや汚れている水槽があったのがマイナスポイントかな。 近くには遊具のある公園や見にSLに乗れる広場があるので、子供連れにはいいかも。

    オートサイトを利用しましたが、とても広かったです 。タープと2ルームテントを建てても、充分な広さでした。プライベートも確保され良かったです。スーパー銭湯も近くにあるので便利でした。

    An amusement facility surrounded by forest where visitors can enjoy pools and hot spring baths together with the seasonal beauty of the Okukuji area. The facility is located close to the last stop of the bus for Forespa-Daigo leaving from Hitachi-Daigo Station on the JR Suigun Line. The indoor facilities make use of piping hot water from the hot springs of Daigo and include a 25-meter pool, tube slide, and various saunas, ensuring there's something for people of all ages. The bade zone has facilities for promoting health and beauty such as a lie-down bath and water walking pool. There's also an indoor bath and restaurant which can be used while wearing a swimsuit.

    近隣で食事をした後、運動がてら行ってきました。屋内プールで温泉施設もあり、プールで体が冷えた際は、すぐに温められるので非常に良いと思いました。
