    Shikoku's westernmost hot-spring, located on the Sadamisaki Peninsula, Japan's narrowest peninsula. This hot spring is in a quiet neighborhood on the Uwa Sea side via the Sadamisaki Melody Line and while you can stop in for a bath you can also easily spend the night and fully relax. This high quality natural hot-spring is a weak alkaline hypotonic spring that easily penetrates the body and is good for your skin. It has beneficial effects such as helping with nerve pain and muscle soreness as well as helping recover from exhaustion and promoting general health. With a restaurant serving the seasonal flavors of Sadamisaki as well as a shop selling local specialties this is a fun spot to take a break while driving.

    変わり種の塩サウナ、しっかりマッサージしているとツルツルになつてくるのがわかる。また、室温も低いのでとても居心地の良い気温で快適なサウナでした。 露天の酒粕湯も変わってて良かった。 入口の買い物エリアも楽しい。

    Morinokuni Poppo Onsen is one of Japan’s more unusual natural hot spring spas as its part of JR Matsumaru Station. With views of the Hirose River from the free foot bath on the second floor, it’s highly popular with tourists as they can access it directly from the train platform. There are two indoor baths, the wooden Meiji-no-Yu and stone Nametoko-no-Yu. It’s a day spa where the bathing areas periodically rotate between men’s and women’s use. Both have a sauna and an outdoor bath. The lobby features local specialty products from Matsuno, and they sell items like ice cream and milk. It’s a good place to take a rest after your bath.

    JR予土線は運転本数が少なく、ワンマンの列車で、駅はほとんど無人駅です。松丸駅も無人駅の扱いですが、なんと駅舎の2階が温泉施設になっています。次の列車が来るまでに時間がある場合は、ここでくつろぎながら時間をつぶすことができると思います。駅前には無料の足湯もあります。

    This health and well-being facility is located along National Route 197, in Takanoko, Shirokawa-cho, Seiyo City. Visitors to the facility can experience Balneotherapy (treatment in a hot spring), which uses the famous Takara Izumibo hot spring, includingin the large public bath and 14 different attractions of the Balneo Pool where visitors can relax their muscles. Group therapy and private therapy sessions under the guidance of specialized therapists are available. (Both require a reservation. )There are also rest areas where visitors can buy snacks or purchase local products.

    プールは4歳以上から入ることができます。腕につける浮き輪も完備されているので安心です。 温泉はプールとつながっていて、プールに入ったら温泉にも入れます。子供と遊んだり、体力づくりをするにはとても良いスポットです。

    Garyunoyu is a hot springs bathing facility located in Garyu-no-fuchi. It offers superb views; while relaxing in the main indoor pool or one of the outdoor pools, visitors can look out over verdant mountains. Besides bedrock baths, saunas, and baths with a floor surface that massages the feet, Garyunoyu also has footbaths that make a great place to relax. Family baths suitable for small groups of people are available for rental (advance booking is required), making this a place where families with young children can enjoy worry-free hot springs bathing. There are also rest areas with comfortable reclining seats, and a restaurant.

    お掃除が行き届いており、 とても気持ち良く利用できます。 駐車場にたくさん車があっても 中が割と広いのでゆったりできます。 浴槽に背もたれ付きの長椅子があって 寝湯のようにリラックスできて◎でした。

    県道４号線の高知県との県境から約１Kｍ北上したところを左折して、山に数百メートル上ったところに、この温泉があります。 大浴場と別料金で個室の家族風呂があります。山間の静かなロケーションでの温泉は、なんとも言えない充実感があります。 大浴場の浴室は、あまり大きくはないですが平日であれば、のんびりと温泉を楽しめると思います。

Stretched across the northwest corner of Shikoku island, Ehime is a nature-rich prefecture boasting beautiful coastlines and a rural center where mountains play host to 26 of the Buddhist temples that make up the Shikoku Pilgrimage. Matsuyama is home to an original post-feudal castle as well as Dogo Onsen, one of the country’s oldest natural hot springs. The northern city of Imabari marks the entrance to the Shimano Kaido, a road that crosses six spectacular bridges and several islands, forming a route between Shikoku and mainland Honshu.
