Hiroshima Pref. Hatsukaichishi Miyajimachou

This is a park of 700 mainly Japanese maple trees at the foot of the virgin forest of Mt. Misen, Miyajima. The scene of the striking red colors of the trees during mid to late November make this a famous area to view the change of the seasons. The area near the Momiji (maple) Bridge is a popular spot to take photos. Although many visitors come in the autumn season the park is also attractive from spring to the summer with its fresh greenery surrounding the park. It is approximately 20 minutes on foot from Miyajima Pier.

Omoto park is the site of a very old battle field. This is a grea area for walking and for seeing the wild deer.

It is a museum located in the Senkoji Park in Onomichi City. It was built in 1980 using the former NHK Onomichi Broadcasting Station site. In 2003, the buildings were renewed with designs by architect Tadao Ando, and both the main building and new building have become a symbol of Senkoji Park. A shopping mall located in Kamiya-cho in the heart of Hiroshima City. A well-known Hiroshima destination, the exterior of the building bears a design modeled after the scales of a carp. Mall tenants include a variety of fashionable apparel shops with a focus on women's clothing; a wide variety of restaurants, from Western fare to restaurant's serving Setouchi cuisine; as well as boutiques, bookstores, and even a comprehensive medical center. The medical center is conveniently open even on Saturday afternoons and Sundays. The Sogo Hiroshima Store operates on floors B1, 2, 10, and the roof. There's also a bus terminal on the third floor, making access highly convenient.

An authentic large submarine is displayed onshore and is a valuable spot where you can actually board the vessel and see and experience the life and environment inside a submarine.
