"This day-use hot spring is located along the Arima Kaido Highway about a two-minute walk from Karatodai Station. The spacious bathhouse is equipped with a wide variety of bathtubs and other facilities including large indoor baths, outdoor baths, saunas, cascade baths, lie-down baths, and more. The baths are fed with yellowish-brown weakly alkaline simple hypotonic radioactive hot spring water pumped up from 700 meters underground. The ""Yasuragi no Izumi Enmei no Yu"" and ""Magokoro no Izumi Juju no Yu"" bathrooms, each with their own unique style, are rotated between the genders on even and odd days. The attached restaurant is popular for offering dishes made with locally grown rice and vegetables. All in all, the bathhouse provides well-balanced support of health promotion from both inside and outside the body."

"This residence was where the literary master Junichiro Tanizaki lived for seven years from 1936-1943. The attached Tanizaki Library features a collection of books, reference literature, and other items. The home, where he Tanizaki lived with his wife Matsuko and her younger sisters, inspired the setting of his masterpiece ""The Makioka Sisters"" (Sasameyuki). The world of the novel, which realistically depicted life in the home, will vividly come to life as you set foot inside. The attached library, which was built on the 20th anniversary of the home's relocation, exhibits works written in Tanizaki's own hand."
