Onsite you will find a freshwater pool and mini-athletic area. A great place to come relax with the family. This campground, is located a 15-minute drive from Kikugawa Station or a 20-minute drive from the Kikugawa Interchange. This reservation-only campsite is situated southwest of Kanaya station and the entrance to the road that leads to summit of 282.6-meter Mt. Hitsurugi, the highest peak in the city. Visitors who wish to use the campground must make a reservation at least 14 days in advance of their expected arrival, and they may choose to make a day trip or spend one night. Campsites are available throughout the year, but bungalows are available only from April to October. It is an especially attractive place to spend some time after hiking or to enjoy a barbecue. Shizuoka Areas

around-area-map

With the giant Pacific Ocean to the south and the great Mount Fuji to the north, Shizuoka prefecture is blessed with some of the best views the country has to offer. The white sand beaches of the Izu Peninsula are a rare find on mainland Japan, neighbored by beautiful cliffs, tumbling hills, and natural hot springs. As Japan’s largest producer of green tea, the age-old tradition of tea drinking is ubiquitous in Shizuoka, from the miles of tea fields to the old tea houses hosting traditional tea ceremonies.
