    A auto campground sprawling on the bank of the Itadori River a 50-minute drive from the Mino Interchange on the Tokai-Hokuriku Expressway. The campground has 66 auto camping sites which you can drive right onto (46 have AC electrical outlets), as well as four cabins with capacities of up to five people and replete with air conditioning, heating, and electricity. Other facilities include a cooking corner with hot water, and coin operated 24-hour shower room. Customers can enjoy activities like playing in the Itadori River, riverside barbecuing, and pizza making classes using a real pizza oven.

    大人4人でキャンプに行きました。 スペースは広く、クルマ、テント2張り、タープを設置しても余裕です。 炊事場はお湯も出るし、トイレも綺麗で安心です。 板取川の真横に接してます。場所によっては流れが急なので注意。 広場で遊ぶことも出来て、大人も子供も居心地の良い場所です。 また行きたいです。

    A 90-minute drive from the Matsumoto Interchange on the Nagano Expressway. Situated in the Nakao Highland 1,200 meters above sea level, this campground is comfortably cool even in summer. The campground has 90 sites of which 39 have AC electric outlets, as well as 11 camper van sites. Custodians are on staff 24 hours a day from the second Saturday in July until early November in the management building, easily identifiable due to its gassho-zukuri style architecture with a tall triangular roof. The campground notably has outdoor baths (mixed sex and women only) supplied by a natural hot spring; guests can use the baths as much as they want, and non-guests can also pay a small fee to use them.

    A campground located a 60-kilometer drive from the Matsumoto Interchange on the Nagano Expressway via the Nomugi Pass on National Route 158. Situated 1,500 meters above sea level halfway up Mt. Norikura, the campground is cool even in summer. All of the campgrounds private camping spaces, enclosed by forest, have 100 volt AC electrical outlets. The campground also has camping trailers replete with 100 volt electricity, kitchens, beds, and refrigerators, and bungalows where you can enjoy a mountain hut-like atmosphere. The campground also rents out tents, sleeping bags, and other camping equipment. The campground is open from the latter half of April until the end of September.

    This campground is in Meihookuzumi, Gujo City. It uses part of the Meiho Ski Resort, and in addition to the lawn site and the auto site, it has the GRACE site facility with tents installed on wooden decks, and specially selected furniture equipped. You can also enjoy American style barbecues with locally grown food (food reservations required) and day-camping.

    This auto campground is in Imasu, Sekigahara Town, Fuwa County. There is camping sites with car parking as well as on unallocated sites, and they also have cottages and bungalows, as well as barbecue houses. It can be used for day camping, and they have trout fishing, stream play areas, and mountain bike trails. They have three kinds of ground golf course, all certified by the Japan Ground Golf Association, and a cafe is on the grounds.

It's also close to the main building of Enasanso, a government run hotel, providing access to their day-use bathhouse.

    A lodge and campground on the Hiwada Highland with a view of Mt. Norikura and other Northern Alps peaks, as well as Mt. Ontake to the south. In addition to European style cottages, they have car camping sites you can pull into, an indoor tennis court, and more. The Center Lodge in the middle of the campground has guest rooms and a public bath that those staying at the lodge or cottages can use for free. Its 1,300-meter highland location with comfortable midsummer temperatures of around 25 degrees centigrade is perfect for sports practice.

    This barbeque area is located about 30 minutes away from both the Seki-Hiromi Interchange and Mino Interchange. You can enjoy relaxing barbecues in this space surrounded by rich nature. The charm of this barbecue area is that you can enjoy it even if it rains because the tables have roofs. Since the area rents out grills, kitchen knives, tongs and cutting boards for free, you can enjoy yourself simply by bringing food, drinks, chopsticks and paper plates. It offers fresh and rich gelato with flavors such as hometown milk, white peach, mango and pistachio only during the summer, and many groups also visit to barbecue just for the purposes of the gelato.

    This barbecue site is located about 20 minutes from Sekigahara Interchange, and is inside Ogaki City Kami Ishizu Midori no Mura Park, which has accommodation facilities, tennis courts, adventure playground and ground golf course. There are two barbecue sites: the Shiitake Garden Barbecue Site that can accommodate 400 people, and the Tsuribori Barbecue Site that is above the fishing pond. The Shiitake Garden Barbecue Site is close to the grassy plaza and the park management office, and there are courses with prepared food, so you can easily barbecue without any worries. The shop adjoining the site also sells soft-serve ice cream and shaved ice.

    This camping ground is managed by the Forestry Association that promotes forest sustainability and forest productivity. You can enjoy camping in the middle of nature along the Tsukechi River surrounded by vivid forests. The suspension bridge over a clear stream and the Tsukechi River is the symbol of the forest camping ground. About 40 small and large cabins line both sides of the river. Amenity Cabin 2 can take up to 30 guests, and is perfect for groups to utilize. Inside is a multipurpose facility with a tennis court and space for day camping, as well as an outside public bathing house that is open in the evening.

    This campground is located in Itadori, Seki City. Adjacent to the clear streams of the Itadori River and the Itadorigawa Onsen Badehaus, it is surrounded by cedar and cypress trees that are over 100 years old, and is a campground overflowing with cool greenery even in midsummer. The Itadori River has good water quality and is a nice place for children to play in the water, and you can enjoy barbecues and strolling along the boardwalk. There is a barbecue house, fishing hole, and natural sweetfish cuisine restaurant called Omodaka on the premises.

    This campground on the Takahara River in Okuhida Onsen is open from early April to early November. They have large natural outdoor men's and women's baths exclusively for the use of campers and you can use them as often as you like during their hours of operation. They also have AC power supplies and a coin operated laundry facility and showers. There is also a fishing pond, an athletic playground, and a children's water park. They rent camping gear, cooking utensils, mountain bikes, and more. With a supermarket and road station nearby, you'll have a comfortable time camping here.

    A hot spring inn and campground facing the Akigami River. The inn has four Japanese style rooms either six or 10 tatami mats in size, and here guests can relax surrounded by the great outdoors. The facility’s rock-enclosed bathing area is constantly replenished “kakenagashi” style from a hot spring source, and the inn offers non-meal overnight plans as well. The bathhouse can also be used by non-guests for a day trip bathing experience on Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, and during the Golden Week and Bon Festival holidays. Campers can camp in the campground area where and when they like and enjoy a variety of leisure activities such as amago trout fishing and edible wild plants picking. For families with children, bug hunting is particularly popular here.

You can enjoy forest bathing and bird watching, as well as take in the colorful leaves in autumn. It’s a popular venue for overnight “forest schools too, where kids can get in touch with nature.
