    Taneyama Highland, Seiza no Mori is a campground located in Esashi Ward in the city of Oshu in Iwate Prefecture. From the campground's location in the Taneyama Highlands, which straddle the cities of Oshu and Tono and the town of Sumita, visitors can see the entire Kitakami Basin. They can also enjoy star-gazing, collecting insects, bird watching, and forest bathing. The lodging facilities include cottages and drive-in free camping spots.

In addition, because it is situated along a mountain climbing course, it is used not only by campers but also mountain climbers. It is open every year from April until around November.

    This facility is located on the south of the roadside station Iwaizumialong National Route 455. It is an ideal spot for families to visit, and has a full complement of facilities such as an auto campground and outdoor stage. There are over 40 sites in the auto campground, a cottage that can accommodate up to 10 people, and a trailer house with an unusual design, where visitors can spend some time away from the monotony of their day to day lives. There is also a center house that is open 24 hours a day and also functions as a point of contact for emergencies. The roadside station also has a hill with large playground equipment for children to enjoy, as well as a central plaza surrounded by nature.

    This campsite is located in Tanohata Village, Iwate Prefecture. It was destroyed by the earthquake in 2011, but was reopened in 2015. The campsite also has a cooking area and flushing toilets, so families can bring small children without worrying about anything. The campground is also fully equipped with cooking areas and flushing toilets, and campers can experience nature quietly filtering through the leaves of the forest. There is also Kurosaki-Sou, a national youth hostel, which has a bath with an excellent view, so visitors can enjoy a day-trip to the bath.

The campground is inside the recreation park River Park Niisato, situated on an elevated area overlooking Heigawa River. There is a standard auto campground for cars, another for camper vans and an open auto campground, all equipped with a 20-amp power supply. In addition to the management building having cooking areas, coin laundry and heated showers, visitors can also bathe at the adjacent public bath, Yuttarikan. Even first-time campers can enjoy a long stay without worrying about anything, and the campground is also an ideal spot for fishing on Heigawa River.
