A auto-camping ground in Shibukawa, Inasa-cho, Hamana-ku, Hamamatsu City. They offer auto-camping stalls and cottages with bungalows that can house up to 15 people. They have an off-road motorcycle trial course and from September until the end of June you can go hunting for shiitake mushrooms. Located nearby is the Shibukawa Water Park and in June this is a great place for watching fireflies.

"This campground is hidden deep in the mountains of the Tatsuyama-cho district in Tenryu Ward, Hamamatsu City. Modeled after the kind of ""secret bases"" children make, the campground is replete with tent sites, lodges, cottages, and a cafe. Previously operated as the Tatsuyama Seishonen Ryokomura, the campground has newly added a climbing wall and a children's pool with a slide. Visitors rave that here, even adults can play and feel like a kid again. Situated 600 meters above sea level amid the mountains, visitors can enjoy camping in relative cool even in the middle of summer."

Shizuoka Areas

around-area-map

With the giant Pacific Ocean to the south and the great Mount Fuji to the north, Shizuoka prefecture is blessed with some of the best views the country has to offer. The white sand beaches of the Izu Peninsula are a rare find on mainland Japan, neighbored by beautiful cliffs, tumbling hills, and natural hot springs. As Japan’s largest producer of green tea, the age-old tradition of tea drinking is ubiquitous in Shizuoka, from the miles of tea fields to the old tea houses hosting traditional tea ceremonies.
