- Nagano Pref. Nakanoshi Ippongi
- Ippongi Park opened in 1984 as a rest area for the locals, and thanks to the 172 types of roses (179 total) donated by Kikuo Kuroiwa, it has become a famous rose garden in the prefecture. There are currently 850 types of roses and 2,500 roses total, along with cherry trees and perennial herbs that visitors can enjoy year-round. It’s 15 minutes from Shinshu-Nakano Interchange on the Joshin-Etsu Expressway, or about a five-minute walk from Nakano-matsukawa Station on the Nagano Line.

鉄道を利用して中野市散策していて公園を見つけました。ちょうどバラまつりが開催されていて中には入れませんでしたが、外からでも素敵な花を見ることできました◯

- Nagano Pref. Iyamashi Mizuho
- A park fanning out from the bank of the Chikuma River in Mizuho, Iiyama City, Nagano Prefecture and the setting of the song Oborozukiyo. Each year in spring the park is covered in rape blossoms, a beautiful sight which looks almost as if a great yellow carpet has been spread across the land. The Iiyama Nanohana Flower Festival is held during the golden week holiday block in May. The park grounds serve as the main festival venue, and a variety of events are held here, including concerts and a mochi rice cake pounding rally.

- Nagano Kamiminochi-gun Shinanomachi Kashiwabara
- "A park located a three-minute drive from the Shinanomachi Interchange. Visitors will find a variety of facilities dedicated to the great Japanese poet Kobayashi Issa, including the ingeniously designed Issa Memorial Museum; the Haikaiji Temple, which was built in 1910; and stone monuments inscribed with Issa's poems. The park's rear garden, which leads to the graveyard, has a still and elegant atmosphere and is particularly beautiful in fall when the leaves change color. The park is famous for the Issa Festival held each year on May 5th on the date of Issa's birthday, and the park bustles with people of all ages during this time. In Utagaoka Park, located on the park grounds, visitors can find a monument inscribed with ""Shinano no Kuni,"" the official poem of the prefecture. In addition, the park offers fantastic, sweeping views of Nagano City."

Nagano Areas
Nagano prefecture is an exciting mix of mountains, hot spring monkeys, and preserved Edo history. At the heart of the Japanese Alps, Nagano is one of the country’s most popular destinations, whether in winter for its snow sports and the much-loved Jigokudani Monkey Park or in the warmer months for discovering the undulating hills on foot. For fantastic Edo architecture, head to the Kiso Valley for a 60-kilometer stretch of quaint wooden buildings that marked the Nakasendo route 200 years ago.
