One of the most famous landmarks in Tokyo, the huge red piece of object art was created by the American artist Robert Indiana. It's been a rendezvous spot for couples in many movies and TV dramas. This park was originally a reserve for hunting and falconry for the shogunate. As such it was off-limits to the rest of the population. A road runs through the center of the park, splitting it into a western section with a mixed forest of konara oaks and sudajii chinquapins and an eastern section with a large pond. There is a spring-fed pond at the center of the park with views of old Musashino. It used to be a well-known spot for viewing fireflies. They still breed a variety of fireflies there and hold events like the Firefly Viewing Night at the end of July. The event is so popular that numbered tickets are issued.

    Tokyo Suginami-ku Omiya 2
A metropolitan park with a quiet atmosphere enshrouded by trees in a residential part of Tokyo's Suginami City. The park area was originally quite low and ponds would form here due to overflows from the Zenpukuji River; this area was then later turned into a park in the late 1950s. The vast, 260 thousand square meter park grounds encompass two sports tracks, a barbecue ground, and baseball field. In total, the park is straddled by 12 bridges, from the Hakusanmae Bridge to the Musashino Bridge. The park is famously a habitat for kingfishers and other water birds, a rarity in Tokyo, and many people come here to enjoy bird watching around the park's woods, which primarily consist of sawtooth oak and konara oak.

A New York café and restaurant located in the Lumine 2 building of the Lumine Shinjuku shopping mall in Shinjuku City, Tokyo. Dubbed the queen of the New York breakfast, Sarabeth’s popularity means it sees long lines to get it on weekends and holidays. A full array of delicious and carefully crafted breakfast items are served in the shop’s refreshing red and white interior. Particularly popular are the addictive mildly sweet and citrusy lemon ricotta pancakes, as well as the classic eggs benedict, perfect for brunch.

    Tokyo Shinjuku-ku Kikuicho
"A slope passing to the southeast of Kikuicho's Raikoji Temple starting at Waseda Station on the Tozai Line. Natsume Soseki was born in the neighborhood in 1867. It got its name from his father, Naokatsu, an important landowner who took to calling it by his own name. This eventually caught on and became official. Towards the Ushigome Health Center you can find the site of Soseki Sanbo, where the author spent the later years of his life. It later became a municipally run apartment building, and today there's the small Soseki Park there. Its ""Neko Zuka (cat mound),"" a memorial to deceased cats, dogs, and pet birds, was installed together with a bust of Soseki."

The setting of countless iconic movie scenes and the inspiration for songs, poetry, and literature worldwide, Tokyo barely requires an introduction. It’s hard for the kaleidoscopic neon lights, wacky pop culture, and some of the world’s tallest structures not to instill excitement in any first-time visitor to Tokyo, whether you’re in the very center of the hustle and bustle in Shinjuku or Shibuya or looking in from the quieter suburbs.
