This long-standing bread company established in 1869 created sakadane anpan bread made using sakadane yeast, and its bread was even presented to Emperor Meiji. The anpan with a soft, moist texture that has remained the same for more than 140 years has a refined taste that brings out the flavor of the adzuki beans. In addition to the classic types of anpan such as keshi and ogura, others such as French bread and Danishes are also popular at the first floor bakery. On the second floor is a café where guests can enjoy sandwiches and sweets, on the third floor is a yoshoku grill restaurant, and on the fourth floor is a casual French bistro. The closest station is Ginza Station.

A garden eel restaurant located near Nihombashi Station. Here diners can enjoy wild garden eel gathered from seasonal hunting grounds. The shop serves its eel two delicious ways – stewed and broiled. If you want to enjoy particularly tender meat, go with the stewed; if you’re looking to savor the innate savory flavor, go with the broiled. The shop also has “ainose” options giving you the chance to enjoy both in a single meal. You can also order broth for pouring over your eel to eat it chazuke style.

Located inside the Coredo Muromachi 2 shopping mall, this highly popular sushi restaurant serves omakase courses made with fresh seafood brought in that day at reasonable prices. Conveniently located, Manten Sushi can also be rented out, making it a perfect place for parties, girls' nights out, and other events.

Established in 1934, this is Japan’s oldest beer hall. The interior of the restaurant has a retro ambience with Japan’s first 250-color glass mosaic and columns decorated with barley motifs. Guests can enjoy a Sapporo beer poured by a beer master with an abundant assortment of snacks. We recommend the small glass of draft Sapporo beer called a Kinguchi Glass with the Ginza Roast Beef that is only available during limited times and with limited quantities.

The reason for coming here was to see the oldest beer hall in Japan, modelled after German beer hall. I was surprised that it was quite busy even at tea time, around 4pm, but then I reckon this type...

This old-fashioned pastry shop was founded in 1947. Since the start they have avoided using artificial sweeteners and colors whenever possible, and their bakers aim to bring out the natural flavors of the ingredients in every handmade cake. Their leaf-shaped pies are especially popular. The simplicity of the items draws out their flavor. You can order light fare like cake, cookies, and sandwiches in the tea room.

A cafe located behind the Kabuki-za (theatre) in Ginza, Chuo City, Tokyo. In addition to coffee and other drinks, the shop YOU serves cafe standards such as Napolitan spaghetti, curry, and sandwiches. The cafe's omelet rice, in particular, has become its signature dish-sometimes lines of people will form out the door waiting just to enjoy the ketchup rice and perfectly half-cooked, fluffy omelet, still runny on the inside, served on top. The cafe's food dishes are also available for takeout.

We really liked the food here. It’s very simple but delicious. The place is very small and unfortunately they allow smoking but luckily we were near the aircon so didn’t feel it as much.

    Tokyo Chuou-ku Tsukishima 3-16-9
A seafood monjayaki savory fried batter restaurant located a four minute walk from exit number 10 of Tsukishima Station. People love the flavor of the dashi broth Moheji uses in its monjayaki, made with eight varieties of seafood. Particularly recommended are the mentaiko walleye pollack, mochi rice cake, and cheese monjayaki. All of the restaurant's seafood is brought in daily from Tsukiji Market, and Moheji also serves seafood teppanyaki. The seafood garlic rice is made by sauteing rice with fragrant garlic and flavorful seafood on the griddle embedded in your table; it goes great with a cup of sake.

This is a well-established wagashi (Japanese sweets) shop founded in 1884, and Ginza's Kuya monaka is loved by many including those that are cultured and their signature product of monaka is popular as a present for a special someone. Without using any additives they combine carefully selected red beans and sugar into a tsubushi-an that has a refined sweetness. Since the shop sells out of the entirely homemade treats, customers will need to make a reservation if they want to be certain of their purchase. Ginza Station is the closest train station.

With the Tencho Omakase Sushi chef's course (includes 11 pieces of nigiri sushi and one sushi maki-roll); you can choose the last nigiri yourself. Tokyo Areas

The setting of countless iconic movie scenes and the inspiration for songs, poetry, and literature worldwide, Tokyo barely requires an introduction. It’s hard for the kaleidoscopic neon lights, wacky pop culture, and some of the world’s tallest structures not to instill excitement in any first-time visitor to Tokyo, whether you’re in the very center of the hustle and bustle in Shinjuku or Shibuya or looking in from the quieter suburbs.
