This nature park on the Taibusa Cape is part of Minamiboso Quasi-National Park. Its facilities include a visitor center, an exercise field, a lookout, walking paths, and a campground, as well as Hotel & Resorts Minamiboso and the Taibusa Cape Nature Center. The site was once an army fortress and an important point of defense, and traces of that history remain today.

    小高い丘から東京湾を眺めることのできる、気持ちの良い場所です。展望台や展望台が設置されており、家族連れで訪れている人がたくさんいました。ただ、塩の関係で遊泳はできません。

This semi-island located south of Tateyama bay is part of the natural area designated as Minami Boso Quasi-National Park. An uninhabited area of rock and sand beaches, it’s about one kilometer around, and hosts a unique ecosystem of seaside flora and fauna. You can observe all kinds of coastal plant life, like copses of Japanese cinnamon and giant bay trees, as well as cobra lily Urashima, spider lilies and canavalia rosea. The park’s coral reef is at the northernmost limit for such features, and is a popular snorkeling spot.

A park located on the site of a castle which once belonged to the Satomi clan during Japan’s Warring States period. Visitors can come in contact with history while strolling the grounds; the Tateyama City Museum is located in the park, as well as a recreation of Tateyama Castle (which also operates as the Hakkenden Museum) and a traditional Japanese landscape garden outfitted with a pond and stream. This verdant park is also renowned as a destination for enjoying flowers, including camellias, azaleas, cherry trees, and Japanese apricots.

"This park is maintained around the Nojimazaki Lighthouse, a lighthouse built on the southern tip of Cape Nojima. In addition to the cape itself, the lighthouse is also on the southernmost point of Minamiboso City. The area was originally a detached island but became connected to the mainland after a large earthquake in 1703. Today, the cape is still called ""Nojima"" (literally ""No Island"") in spite of the fact it is no longer an island. Visitors can climb to the top of the 30-meter-high lighthouse and get a sweeping view of the area. The park has walking paths and a stone monument marking the southernmost point."

    Chiba Minamiboso-shi Wadacho Shiba
This park faces Wadaura. Inspired by the abundance of flower cultivation practiced in Minamiboso City's Wada-cho district, the park grounds are planted with a variety of flowers, and visitors can take in seasonally blooming flowers year-round. The symbol of the park is its shining silver sculpture of a dolphin tail. The expansive park has walking paths and a hill which visitors can climb to get a sweeping view of flower fields. In addition, the park has a wisteria trellis which blooms with delightful purple flowers in summer. Visitors can also enjoy poppies and pot marigolds from December through March, and marigolds and other flowers from April through September.

Chiba Areas

The Boso Peninsula forms the main body of Chiba prefecture, and this is where you’ll find its endless warm water beaches and jagged mountains. Further inland, Narita - most famous as the home of Narita Airport - is a secret haven of tradition and history in the form of centuries-old Shinshoji Temple and quaint wooden Edo buildings. Chiba prefecture is also home to both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea.
