- A street once lined with Chichibu textile wholesalers which still retains structures reminiscent of the 1920s and 30s. Many of the buildings are designated as National Tangible Cultural Properties. The side streets connecting Kuromon-dori and Kaitsugisho-dori are known as the “wind alleys”, and walking them, you’ll feel like you’ve taken a trip back in time.
