    A roadside station standing in front of Ashigakubo Station along National Route 299 in Ashigakubo, Yokoze Town, Chichibu County. Facilities include a farm fresh shop selling produce from local farms and other foods; two restaurants serving Chichibu's famous miso potatoes, zuriage udon noodles, and other local dishes; an activity facility where visitors can learn how to make ceramics and soba and udon noodles; a gallery; and shower rooms. The adjoining Mizube no Cafe serves a popular premium soft serve ice cream.

    国道２９９号沿いにある道の駅。芦ヶ久保駅近接。１２月上旬平日早朝、秩父に入る前のトイレ休憩に立ち寄りました。周囲は霜が降り、足元要注意。ドライバーは勿論、ドリブラー向けの道の駅です。

    The center of sightseeing along the Chichibuji road, Roadside Station Chichibu is a popular road station that sells souvenirs unique to Chichibu and has restaurants where you can taste local cuisine. Chichibu no Mizu, a fountain with water sourced from an Arakawa River tributary (Urayama River) and groundwater from Mt. Buko, has safe and delicious water cleaned through slow sand filtration. The station has a direct sale market selling fresh, local farm produce and a shop selling local specialty products such as soba noodles and alpine leek pickled in soy sauce. There's also a community center Chichibu-shi Yamazato Nature Hall which offers nature programs and craft workshops, and a restaurant Suzuhiroan which serves noodles and other dishes made with local vegetables as well as seasonal fruit soft serve ice cream.

    In this roadside station in Chichibu City, Saitama Prefecture, as well as having an exhibition of real handmade Ryusei rockets passed down for generations by way of the 27 rocket making schools, visitors can get a sense of the Muku-jinja Shrine Grand Autumn Festival, or Ryusei Festival, from the large screens on display. Visitors can also buy local specialty products from Yoshida and goods produced at the activity center for the elderly such as Yuzu pepper, konjac, jam and dried sweet potato.

    雰囲気の良い地域の方がレジをされている道の駅です。可愛いいおにぎりや手作り感のあるクッキーがあり、ほのぼのとした雰囲気の道の駅です。地元の人には好いだろうなと思いました。

    Roadside Station Otaki Onsen is particularly known for offering private rooms to use after rising from their onsen baths for “day trip onsens.” There’s a recessed outdoor bath where you can look out at the close growing trees and a clear flowing stream from Arakawa River. It also hosts a direct sales corner and the Otaki Historical Museum.

    三峰神社に行く途中に立ち寄りました。 秩父市内からここまで来ると気温も下がって、空気もより澄み渡っています。 温泉施設、食事処、お土産コーナーなどいくつかの建物に分かれています。 ログハウス風のファミマも敷地内にあり、日用品を購入できます。 食事処では、お蕎麦やうどん、味噌漬けの豚肉料理などがメニューにあります。 ここから三峰神社までは、車で30分程かかるので、トイレ休憩にもオススメです。

The station sells fresh, local agricultural products as well as foods like pickles and handmade manju buns. The adjoining rest house offers old-fashioned handmade udon noodles, waraji katsudon pork cutlet rice bowls, and other dishes.

    国道１４０号沿いの道の駅。道の駅というより農産物直売所レベルで小ぢんまりとした佇まい。公衆トイレは温泉洗浄便座が快適に機能しており、多目的な利用に適しています。

    A roadside station located in Mido, Higashichichibu Village, Chichibu County. Facilities include a farm fresh shop selling produce from nearby farms and local specialty products such as Japanese washi paper crafts; a restaurant serving handmade soba and udon noodles; and a food court where visitors can eat oyaki buns and char grilled with salt shioyaki style. There's also a washi paper workshop where visitors can watch washi being made and try making their own washi; another workshop where visitors can learn how to make soba noodles by hand; Japanese-style lodgings; The Furusato Bunka Denshukan building with a gallery, training facility, and exhibits on traditional industries; and a late Edo period washi papermaking factory which was dismantled and moved to the station's grounds.

Ryokami, one of Japan’s top 100 mountains, and it has day-trip onsen facilities, direct sales of farm goods, a rest area, dining hall, and soba-making classes. The direct sales area offers fresh, seasonal fruits and vegetables, as well as rare mulberry jam and hand-made konjac jelly and woodwork.
