    An activity center adjoining Roadside Station Ryokami Onsen Yakushinoyu along Prefectural Route 37 in Ryokamisusuki, Ogano Town, Chichibu County. Here visitors can try making soba noodles, tofu, udon noodles, and kon'nyaku devil's tongue jelly by hand using local ingredients (advance reservation required). The facility also serves food like soba and udon noodles and donburi rice bowls. The adjoining farm fresh shop sells seasonal fruits, vegetables, and edible wild plants.

    A farm open to tourists located in Arakawahino, Chichibu City. From mid-August to mid-October, visitors can pick some 10 varieties of grapes (varieties may vary depending on the time of year), including Chichibu Yama Ruby grapes, a variety unique to Chichibu with an edible skin. The farm also organically grows two varieties of strawberries-Tochiotome and Yayoihime-which visitors can pick from January to late May.

    Mikan (mandarin orange) farms open to tourists located in Ouchizawa, Higashichichibu Village, Chichibu County. There are several mikan farms in the area and the region is known as the northernmost limit for growing mikan. Visitors can enjoy mikan picking at the various farms from late October to late December.

    A grape orchard open to tourists situated along Prefectural Route 37 in Minano, Minano Town, Chichibu County. From early August to mid-October, the farm's shop sells 30 varieties of grapes and visitors can go grape picking amongst roofed grape trellises. The orchard also offers blueberry picking in August. Plus, visitors can enjoy barbecuing on a hot stone plate or watch the Paleo Express Chichibu Railway steam locomotive running nearby.

    A facility situated along Prefectural Route 82 in Ido, Nagatoro Town, Chichibu County. The facility hosts restaurants serving zuriage (udon noodles eaten while parboiling them), shakushina meshi (rice with pickles), and other local dishes; a classroom where visitors can try making udon noodles by hand; a ceramics classroom; and a barbecue ground. Visitors can also try catching ayu and rainbow trout with their bare hands in the facility's pond or go river rafting.

    Built on 497 meter tall Mt. Hodo, the Hodosan Ropeway connects the 832 meters between Sanroku Station at the foot and Sancho Station at the summit. During the five minute ride, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Nagatoro from the air. Starting with kanzakura cold weather cherries which reach peak bloom in late November, you can enjoy spectacular flowering plants here through to mid-June, including Japanese allspice, Japanese apricot, pheasant’s eye, cherry trees, azaleas, and rhododendrons. In autumn, the fall foliage is stunning.

    宝登山神社に行ったらロープウェイで奥宮まで登る計画を立てていたのですが、切符売り場で断念。 かなりの行列でした! 一度に乗ることができるのは50人。 今出発したばかりで更に50人以上並んでいました。 30分に一本運行と書かれていたので諦めることに。 紅葉シーズンなので平日でも大人気のコースです。 観光バスもたくさん停まっていました。

    A farm where, depending on the season, you can enjoy all-you-can-eat strawberries and grapes, Japanese ishiyaki barbecue, and an all-you-can-eat buffet. The farm offers tasty, highly nutritious agricultural products specially grown organically to be healthy for the plants and soil. The farm has five varieties of strawberries and four varieties of grapes. Chichibu Fruit Farm provides a shuttle service from the nearest station with a reservation for 10 or more people.

    From the Oyahana Bridge to Iwadatami, from Iwadatami to Takasago Bridge, and both courses combined create three boat trips to choose from on the Nagatoro River White Water Rafting which operates five times daily from around March 10 to the beginning of December. Reservations need to be made at some point between 30 days before and 12 o’clock on the day before the scheduled boat trip, although if there are space places on the boat can be booked 30 minutes before departure. They also have special service boats such as the poka poka kotatsu boat which runs only in the winter.

    An area of fruit farms in Ashigakubo, Yokoze Town, Chichibu County. There are 13 farms in the area where visitors can pick strawberries from January through to the middle of May, plums in July to early August, and grapes from mid-August to mid-October.

    Sainokuni Fureai Farm is a tourist farm located on Prefectural Route 361 in Sakamoto, Higashichichibu Village, Chichibu County. Besides raising dairy cattle and beef cattle, the Farm also has a variety of other animals—including goats, sheep, rabbits etc.—for visitors to interact with in the farmyard and in the pastures; visitors can also enjoy beautiful seasonal flowers, etc. There are displays on animal husbandry, and a range of hands-on experience activities to try. There are also direct sales outlets selling dairy produce and local agricultural produce; light meals etc. are available.

    Ichigu-sha is a ceramics experience workshop located in the Nagatoro district of Nagatoro Town in Chichibu County. Experiential activities are available for making pottery with an electric potter’s wheel, making hand-thrown pottery, and decorating pottery, all taught by expert instructors. The hand-thrown pottery activity is also available for groups and families. Completed pots will be fired within a period of around one and a half months (one month for decorated pots).

Families can enjoy lava rock barbecue, and seasonal mushroom soup, and Nagashi Somen cuisine served to you by allowing you to catch noodles floating down fresh water in front of you. This is one place you will want to enjoy all day with the meal and activity savings package.

    Winter season so only evergreen mushroom picking and strawberries pick and eat available. Their BBQ for mushroom and fishing was not available as most of the staff are busy preparing for new year...

    A wintersweet garden located on top of Mt. Hodo, a 497-meter-tall mountain in Nagatoro, Nagatoro Town, Chichibu County. Divided into east and west gardens, some 3,000 wintersweet plants spanning three varieties (soshin-robai, wa-robai and mangetsu-robai) are grown here. Visitors can enjoy the mountaintop view as well as the sight of the plants' flowers when they bloom from late December to late February.

    A three-minute walk from Wado-Kuroya Station on the Chichibu Line. Here you can enjoy quality strawberries carefully raised and managed using clean air, pure water, and the temperature differences between morning and night. The farm grows more than 10 varieties of strawberries, including Tochiotome and Akahoppe; the farm's original white strawberries have not yet been named. The farm grows its strawberries using raised planters and fully automatic growing systems in seven greenhouses, and, depending on the time of year, visitors can enjoy up to six strawberry varieties. The farm incorporates universal design principles, ensuring stroller and wheelchair users can easily enter and use the farm's facilities. The farm has been featured in local magazines and newspapers.

    This river trip is held in Nagatoro, Chichibu county. This cruise goes down the Arakawa River and offers views of the natural wonders of Nagatoro valley, including Iwadatami, a National Special Natural Monument. Spring offers cherry blossoms, autumn is filled with fall colors, and in winter you can ride a heated-table kotatsu boat, so there is something for every season here. The information desk is near Nagatoro Station, along the back path to Hodosan Shrine.
