- This prefectural park is located on the border between Saitama and Ibaraki prefectures. At its center is the Gongendo Reservoir, which hosted the flatwater kayaking competition during the 59th National Sports Festival. It consists of four zones in total, including green spaces and multipurpose areas. Gongendo Tsutsumi is on the grounds, known as one of the best flower viewing spots in the Kanto region. Throngs of tourists visit, especially when the cherry trees are in bloom. The Satte Cherry Blossom Festival is held every year at this time.

- "The Metropolitan Area Outer Underground Discharge Channel is the world's largest man-made underground river, constructed in the eastern part of Saitama Prefecture, around 30 minutes' drive from either the Satte Interchange and the Goka Interchange of the Metropolitan Inter-City Expressway. The underground discharge tunnels extend for 6.3 kilometers at a depth of 50 meters below the surface; the project comprises intake channels, discharge tunnels, and pumping equipment. The large containment silos, which are used to mitigate the impetus of the incoming water and ensure smooth flow, have become famous symbols of the project, being compared to an ""underground temple"" because of their huge size and imposing pillars. The containment silos and tunnels have been used as locations for various TV drama series and movies. The Social Experience Tours are available (please note that advance booking is required)."

- A 10 minute walks from Ashigakubo Station on the Seibu Chichibu Line. Together with the Icicles of Misotsuchi and the Onouchi Hyakkei Icicles, the Icicles of Ashigakubo are considered one of the three most spectacular icicle formations in Chichibuji area. Locals create the icicles by splashing water from a stream onto the side of a mountain, creating a giant, 30 meter tall icicle formation that makes for a stunning sight. Originally around 80 meters wide, today the icicle formation reaches up to 200 meters in width; this magical scene can also be viewed from the windows of passing trains. When in-season, the icicles are lit up with colorful lights from Friday to Sunday as well as on holidays. Handmade amazake sweet sake and black tea, a local specialty, are provided for free (excluding during illumination times).

- This popular cherry blossom viewing spot is on the Arakawa River in Kumagaya City. It covers about two kilometers of cherry trees along the levees downstream from Arakawa Bridge. It's been a popular spot since the Edo Period, and it has been chosen as one of Japan's Top 100 Cherry Blossom Viewing Sites. A cherry blossom festival is held in season, and they illuminate the trees in the evening. The Sakura Marathon takes place there in late March, and in the summer, it's the venue for the Kumagaya Fireworks.

- A park shaped like a kinchaku (traditional purse/pouch) located on level ground and surrounded by the Koma River in Hidaka City, Saitama Prefecture. In autumn, the park explodes with the blossoms of some 5 million red spider lilies, their scarlet carpet creating a fantastical landscape. Situated amongst a forest of trees, such a vast amount of red spider lilies is found almost nowhere else in Japan. The Aiai Bridge provided for pedestrians to cross the Koma River is the longest wooden truss bridge in Japan.

- Shobu Castle was built on the forefront of the conflict between the Uesugi Clan, the Kanto Kanrei or shogun's deputy in the Kanto region, and the Kaneda family, retainers of Ashikaga Shigeuji who was the Kamakura Kubo, a self-proclaimed title to be equivalent to Shogun. It is now the site of the Shobu Castle Ruins Iris Garden which boasts nearly 16,000 Japanese irises that come into bloom between early and mid-June. Tourists flock to the area for the Ayame (Iris) and Lavender Blue Festival.

- This cherry blossom spot is in Kitamoto City, Saitama Prefecture. The cherry trees inside the grounds of Toko-ji Temple include one that is said to be 800 years old. Named one of Japan's Five Great Cherry Trees, it was designated as a National Natural Monument in 1922. Given the Japanese name Kabazakura, it's the only specimen of its type in the world, and it blooms in white every year in early April.

- A beautiful field of poppies on a highland 500 meters above sea level in Chichibu. Open from mid-May to mid-June each year, red as well as white and pink poppies bloom in profusion amidst the gentle winds of the plateau. The park hall provides tourism information for Minano Town and Higashi Chichibu Village and also has a shop selling JA Chichibu products and local souvenirs.

- A giant camphor designated a Prefectural Natural Monument located in Kamiyatsu, Ogose Town, Iruma County. The tree is over 1,000 years old, measures 15 meters in circumference at the base, and is 30 meters tall. Per a national plant census conducted in 1988, the tree is ranked the 16th largest in the country and the largest in the prefecture. A wooden walkway leads to the tree, making it easy for visitors to appreciate its majestic beauty.

- A Buddhist temple located in Doyama, Ogose Town, Iruma County, Saitama Prefecture. The temple was founded in 1193 by Minamoto no Yoritomo to pray for success in war. The temple's principal object of worship is an eleven faced statue of Kannon. Also enshrining a statue of Fukurokuju, one of the Seven Gods of Fortune, the temple forms part of the Musashi Ogose Seven Gods of Fortune Pilgrimage, a hiking route which connects seven temples and which leads from the Hoonji Temple near Ogose Station to the Zentoin Temple in Kuroyama, Ogose Town. In addition, the temple grounds are a renowned destination for plum blossom viewing in spring.

- "A plum garden located at the top of 497-meter tall Mt. Hodosan in Nagatoro, Nagatoro Town, Chichibu County, Saitama Prefecture. The garden boasts the greatest variety of plum trees on its grounds of anywhere in the Kanto region, and some 170 varieties grow here, including toji; kanko winter plums; and the three ""tsuki"" (""moon"") varities: mangetsu, tagoto no tsuki, and somei no tsuki. The garden's glowers bloom from early February to around late March."

- These cherry trees are near Nagatoro Station on the Chichibu Railway's Chichibu Main Line. There are many famous cherry blossom spots in town. Kita Sakura Dori Street, Minami Sakura Dori Street, and the road approaching Hodosan Shrine are particularly well known. Kita Sakura Dori Street runs from Takasago Bridge near Nogami Station on the Chichibu Line to Nagatoro Station. Minami Sakura Dori Steet runs south from Nagatoro Station to Kaminagatoro Station. The road to Hodosan Shrine runs from Nagatoro Station towards the shrine. The branches of the cherry trees on Kita and Minami Sakura Dori Street extend from both sides of the road, forming a spectacular cherry blossom tunnel. These have been chosen as one of Japan's Top 100 Cherry Blossom Viewing Sites.

- The only wild primrose habitat in Japan that's been designated as a National Special Natural Memorial. In 1920 it was designated as Japan's first Natural Memorial and then in 1952 as one of the most important Natural Memorials it was chosen as a Special Natural Memorial. The designated area covers nearly 4.1ha and includes wild primroses as well as rare plants including Euphorbia adenochlora and Amsonia elliptica. The best time to see the wild primroses is from late March/early April to mid-April.

It's a popular FM channel that offers lots of high-quality entertaining programming.

- An area on the Arakawa River side near the Cosmos Arena Fukiage. Covering the spacious area is the largest cosmos flower field in the greater Tokyo area with nearly 10 million flowers. In the distance you can also look out at the magnificent scenery of Mt. Fuji and the Chichibu Mountain Range. The best time to catch the flowers in bloom is usually mid to late October and during the blooming season they hold with Cosmos Festival with special events and limited local products available for purchase.
