This is a museum concerning the Aizu Boshin War located at the base of Mt. Iimori, where the Byakkotai (a group of young teenage samurai of the Aizu domain who fought in the Boshin War) spent their final moments. The museum possesses and displays valuable materials connected to the Aizu domain and the Byakkotai. The path from the front of the museum up to the approach for Mt. Iimori is lined with bronze statues of the Byakkotai.

    幾度となくドラマや映画になった、白虎隊の悲しい歴史を資料と共に振り返ることができます。 悲しくて辛い歴史ですが、ここで知ることが出来て本当に良かったなと思える場所です。

    Fukushima Aizuwakamatsu-shi Nanokamachi 6-7
A museum on the second floor of the Kotto Mukashiya antique store in Nanokamachi, Aizuwakamatsu City. It has information related to the Aizu clan and the Shinsengumi, as well as the alliance between the former shogunate and the Ouetsureppan, and the New Imperial Army in the Boshin war period. As the curator of this private collection is an aficionado of classic guns there is particular consideration given to classic firearms.

    七日町通り沿いにあります。一階が骨董屋というかお土産屋さんで2階が記念館です。記念館というよりも個人のコレクションを展示したような場所でしたが、結構内容は充実していて特に銃器はなかなか種類豊富に展示されていました。

    Fukushima Kawanuma-gun Aizubangemachi Funasugi 554
"This memorial museum honors the great achievements of Hachiro Kasuga, an honorary resident of Aizu-Bange Town. Stage costumes, sheet music and photographs of the singer, who represented the music industry in the Showa period (1926-1989), are on display. His favorite piano, make-up tools and records recall his appearance in those days. In the rest area, Kasuga's enka (traditional Japanese ballads) can be sung for free. The lone cedar tree that stands out on the site is the one that he sung about in his hit song ""Wakare no Ipponsugi"" (Farewell One Cedar). This song is played from the adjacent monument when a sensor is activated."
