    This botanical garden is located approximately a three -minute drive from Akita Airport. Visitors can appreciate the 700 different types of Dahlia grown by Mr Washizawa, a cultivator of dahlia. Dahlia are also sold at this location. The garden is open from around August to November every year. Additionally, there are nearby tourist facilities such as restaurants, local product stores and a cheese shop.

    A botanical garden located in the Taiheizan Resort Park in Nibetsu Mantarame, Akita City. On a vast plot covering 9.3 hectares they have 4000 plants covering nearly 250 species from the Akita countryside and you can take a stroll on the walking paths while participating in nature observation. The park also has a camp ground and exercise field.
