    Osaka Osakashi Tsurumi-ku Ryokuchikouen 2-163
    The indoor botanical garden at Tsurumi-Ryokuchi boasts Japan's largest greenhouse by surface area. It was opened in 1990 as the Osaka Pavilion for The International Garden and Greenery Exposition. Built with steel frames and glass walls, standing two stories tall, its design was made to evoke the imagery of the water lilies floating in the wetlands surrounding it. Within the building there are a variety of halls dedicated to the various climates and vegetation found on Earth, from the tropics to the polar regions. Seasonal flowers are included and there are usually in excess of 300 different varieties for you to enjoy.

    This is a very worthwhile outing from central Osaka, easily done on the subway. The walk is 15-minutes from the nearest stop, but its through the grounds of a 1990 exposition, that have been made...

    This botanical garden is south-east of Nagai Park, in front of the Midosuji Line's Nagai Station. The garden covers approximately 24.2 hectares, and cherry trees, tulips and hydrangeas are planted so the garden is in bloom all year round. In addition to these, rare ancient plants and trees, such as Metasequoia, also known as living fossils are exhibited in the gardens. There is also a log house in the herb garden, which offers a free herbal tea service on the first and third Saturday of each month.

    We have been in Japan for 2 weeks and have seen some beautiful gardens. These gardens are very neglected - a total disappointment and so unJapan like. Rubbish in the pond, dead plants, weeds...

    A cultural facility containing colorful gardens and flower-focused offerings, the Osaka Garden of Floral Culture is located in Kawachinagano City, Osaka Prefecture. You’ll find a rose garden with approximately 300 species of plants and 1,500 specimens as well as a clematis garden with about 300 species and over 600 specimens. There are also peonies, Chinese peonies, plum blossoms, hydrangeas, and many other types of flowers that can be seen regardless of season. There’s also a pyramid-shaped greenhouse that’s one of the largest in the country and houses plants from all over the world, such as cacti and orchids. The event hall hosts exhibitions, spot sales, and other plant-themed events.

    人もあまりいてないので、ゆっくりと楽しめる。春夏秋冬、四季折々の花が魅力的で、河内長野駅からバスもあるので、ぜひいってほしい。

    Osaka Katano-shi Kisaichi 2000
    This botanical garden is located in Kisaichi, Katano City. The outdoor garden is planted with around 450 varieties of trees and plants with a focus on Japanese species, including a recreation of a Japanese forest containing 11 of Japan's most well-known species, as well as areas dedicated to plants from other countries, cherry trees, maples, plum trees, and aquatic plants. The garden regularly holds guided tours as well as seasonal events such as cherry and plum blossom viewing parties.

    これまで桜の季節を外していた。なるほど。 ハーブ園の向かいに絶滅危惧種園ができていた。 高齢者向けの割引制度ができていた。 168号線私市小学校下に無料の駐車場ができていた。「交野市いわふね自然の森スポーツ・文化センター」の向かいであるが、天の川沿いの私市水辺プラザ公園を抜けると５分前後。

    This botanical garden has a greenhouse and a variety of other ornamental gardens, and visitors can take in seasonal flowers. Exhibitions, classes, and other fun events are also held in the Green Center year-round, including plant-dyeing classes, weaving classes, and planting classes which can be enjoyed by parents and children together, as well as standing classes such as moss terrarium and scented sachet making.

The Johoku Park Fair is also held during the blooming season, and visitors can enjoy cuisine and local beers from across Japan, as well as live performances.
