    This super bath house hot spring is in the city district just south of JR Senbokuchou Station along the main road. This hot spring aims to warm your body and your core with 11 indoor and outdoor baths such as highly-concentrated carbonated bath and an infrared low-temperature sauna. They also have five types of rock baths including the latest aroma baths which really gets the sweat flowing. The relaxation space comes with reclining beds and tatami floors with bean cushions so visitor can spend a lot of time relaxing.

    盛岡旅行の際に訪れました。炭酸泉が売りの温泉だけあって、炭酸が高濃度で気持ち良かったです。ただ、盛岡駅周辺に宿をとっていたのでアクセスが悪く、行きは、盛岡市内からバスで、帰りは最寄り駅から電車を利用しました。特に、帰りの最寄り駅は分かり難く、暗い夜道を歩いていると不気味でした。

    Morioka Hot Spring is south of Morioka Station across the Shizukuishi River and draws hot spring water up from 1,200 meters from the ground. The spring water is alkaline with radon components. It is particularly effective for neuralgia, muscle pain, sensitivity to the cold, and other ailments. The hot spring has a bedrock bath, a cauldron pool sauna, and reservable private rooms with baths are also available, making this the perfect place for families and couples to relax. There is also a dinning hall and massage parlor. A great place to enjoy yourself as you visit the town.

    旧・奥州街道をランニングで旅した際に立ち寄りました。今回は盛岡駅まで走って新幹線で帰宅予定。汗を流してから乗りたかったので駅から徒歩圏内のお風呂を探したところここに行きつきました。雫石川を渡る長い橋を渡る必要はありますがギリギリ徒歩圏内と言えるでしょう。

There is a free rest area, and there is also a direct sales corner that sells seasonal items mainly on weekends and national holidays.

    Kyukamura Iwateamihari Onsen is a hot spring hotel located in Shizukuishi at the foot of Mt. Iwate. The history of the hotel's legendary hot spring dates back 1,300 years. The spring waters are piped approximately two kilometers from an old caldera on Mt. Iwate, through forest and swamp, the feed five different bathing facilities on the hotel's grounds. Amihari Onsen refers to the indoor and outdoor Taishaku no Yu, indoor Hakusen no Yu, indoor and outdoor daytrip Yakushi no Yu, and outdoor Sennyo no Yu and footbath Shikaoi Ashiyu bathing facilities (note that all outdoor baths are closed in winter). The waters of the simple spring / sulfur spring (hydrogen sulfide) are said to treat such ailments as atopic dermatitis, peripheral nerve disorders, and psoriasis vulgaris.

    国民休暇村の右横の細い遊歩道を歩き、山の中の細い道を４-５分歩くと、「仙女の湯」があります。 更衣室は男女別々ですが、湯船は１つしかなく、近くの滝から落ちてくる水が湯船に入って、ちょうどよい温度になります。

    良いお湯でした。ツルツルすべすべとなります。しかし、宿としてはもうちょっと頑張って欲しいです。新しいタオルはちゃんと用意されてるんですが、部屋には前の人が使ったタオルが干した状態で残ってる。温泉目当てなので、良しとしましょう！！

    pH8くらいの中性の温泉。南昌山入り口。食堂には「しいたけソフト」の文字が……。近くにある「ぬさかけの滝」は一見の価値あり。

    The hot springs here were discovered by a woodcutter from Kaga Province; Oshuku means Bush Warbler Town, a name the area gained because of a legend about a wounded bush warbler's leg being healed by the waters here. The curative waters of this hot spring district, situated in a gorge and over 450 years old, have been used by countless bathers since ancient times. The area's simple hot springs and sulfur springs contain an abundance of sodium and carbonated water ions and are said to treat a variety of ailments. There are a total of 18 ryokan inns, hotels, minshuku bed and breakfasts, and inns where guests make their own food-each with their own hot spring bath facilities-for visitors to choose from, and the area is also a convenient place from which to base area sightseeing activities. Koiwai Farm is a 30 minute drive away, and Lake Tazawa 50 minutes. There are also many facilities nearby which make use of the abundant natural beauty of Shizukuishi Town, including Flower and Garden Mori no Kaze, a garden of stunning scale; and the Hachimantai Country Club golf course.
