Amihari Onsen Arine Sanso
Located about 40 minutes via National Route 46 from the Tohoku Expressway’s Morioka Interchange, this simple day-trip hot spring facility in the middle of nature has relaxing breezes at the foot of majestic Mt. Iwate. With bathing rooms, a sauna and outdoor bath, you can enjoy bathing while watching the magnificent Shizukuishi Basin that spreads before your eyes. The milky white hot springs are simple acidic, sulfur, and acidic hypotonic extra hot springs. It is said to be effective for chronic dermatitis, chronic women’s diseases and cuts. There is a free rest area, and there is also a direct sales corner that sells seasonal items mainly on weekends and national holidays.
