    This hot spring facility is located in the valley of Mt. Yakeishi of the Waga-cho area of Kitakami City, Iwate Prefecture. A natural hot spring with water flowing directly from the spring source, it has one inside bath and five open-air baths. In addition, the open-air baths are exclusively for women during specific times. In the winter, it is a secluded hot spring because of closed roads, and used by locals and tourists. Pick-up from JR Kitakami Station to the facility is available with a reservation.

    ツアーで１泊しました。川沿いに露天風呂が点在し、坂道・階段を下りて行くので、足の弱い方には難しいでしょう。ぬるめ、熱めなどあり、女性専用時間帯もあり内湯もあります。部屋には、テレビ、トイレ、水道、電話がなく、スマホも繋がりません。トイレ、洗面所、外用のサンダル、スリッパは共同。それなりの覚悟が必要です

    This hot spring facility is located in Kawashiri, Nishiwaga Town, Waga County. It adjoins the station building for Hottoyuda Station, and has a large public bath, private bath and break room. There is a traffic light in the bathhouse that shows the arrival time of the next train, so you can enjoy bathing while waiting for the train.

    ほっとゆだ駅の駅舎がそのまま温泉入浴施設になっています。共同浴場なので、観光客よりも地元の方が普段づかいでたくさんこられています。公共施設には珍しい源泉かけ流しの温泉。特にあつ湯は素晴らしい。旅の疲れがとれるいい温泉です。

The main bathing area is fed by a sodium chloride spring, which is said to be affective against cuts and burns, and visitors can relax and forget their troubles. The bathing area also contains a sauna and fresh-water baths. There are no lodging facilities, but visitors may take advantage of a spacious lounge area.

    "A day trip hot spring bathhouse located a 20-minute drive from the Mizusawa Interchange on the Tohoku Expressway. The bathhouse' baths are constantly replenished ""kakenagashi"" style from a salt spring whose waters are said to treat such ailments as nerve pain, muscle soreness, frozen shoulders, chronic digestive diseases, sensitivity to cold, and chronic women's diseases. The bathhouse carries body soap and shampoo and also sells towels and razors. The bathhouse' restaurant serves local Wako gelato, an authentic milk gelato made exclusively with Wako milk."

    入浴料５００円の日帰り温泉です。湯温は熱めの４３．５度ほどでわずかに黄色みを帯びた源泉かけ流しの温泉です。浴室にはサウナ、水風呂がありました。あたたまりの強いナトリウム-塩化物温泉です。館内には食堂と休憩処がありました。

    A hot spring bathhouse located a 15-minute drive from JR Mizusawa Station on the Tohoku Main Line in Oshu City, Iwate Prefecture. Dedicated to providing a space where you'll feel so comfortable you'll unintentionally nod off, the bathhouse has saunas, baths, and cushions and sofas that are super comfortable to lie down on. There's also a computer space and library of 2,000 comic books, so you can spend a whole day relaxing here. The bathhouse' restaurant serves soba noodles made with privately grown buckwheat; there's also a banquet menu.

    A hot spring bathhouse located a 25-minute drive from the Kitakami-Nishi Interchange on the Akita Expressway. The waters of the bathhouse' mildly alkaline simple spring are highly popular with women due to their skin beautifying effects. These waters are also said to treat such ailments as nerve pain, joint pain, bruises, and sensitivity to cold. Surrounded by mountains on four sides and commanding a view of distant Kitakami City, the bathhouse' panoramic view outdoor bath is particularly recommended. Customers can relax in natural hot spring waters and a far infrared sauna. The bathhouse also has simple lodging facilities connected directly to a ski resort.

    A 15-minute drive from the Yuda Interchange on the Akita Expressway. This day trip hot spring bathhouse was the first to offer sand baths in the Tohoku region. The sand baths consist of natural quartz sand gathered in town heated to around 45° C; bathers lie down in the sand while clothed and are buried up to the neck to enjoy a 15-minute bathing session. The sand presses down on the body with a comfortable weight and heats you to the very core. After washing off the sand, you can take a relaxing bath and clear your pores with cleansing sweat in the bathhouse large bathing area. The waters of the bathhouse' sodium calcium-sulfate chloride spring (hypotonic and mildly alkaline high temperature spring) are said to treat such ailments as stiff shoulders, nerve pain, sensitivity to cold, and lower back pain. Of course visitors can just enjoy the hot spring bath area without taking a sand bath if so desired.

The wooden one-story building's bathing area has a rustic atmosphere with a variety of facilities including a bubble bath, an electric bath, an outdoor bath, and a sauna. Other nearby draws include streams for fly fishing and Kunimidaira Ski Resort. Their restaurant's popular Kunimi Ramen is topped with local dumplings called ""hatto"" that were inspired by snow-covered Mt. Kunimi.     This day-use hot spring bathhouse is located a three-minute drive from Hiraizumi-Maesawa Interchange on the Tohoku Expressway. It boasts a bath with a spectacular view. It is a sodium chloride spring (a hypotonic alkaline high temperature spring), which is said to have a variety of medicinal effects such as being beneficial for chronic dermatitis and nerve pain. Additionally, it is said to warm the body to the core and to have a smoothing effect on the skin. It is fully equipped with changing rooms and large bathing areas, a deep pool, electric bath and sauna. In addition to the large hall, there is also a paid Japanese-style rest room, for visitors to relax in. There is also a massage corner in the lobby, where visitors can relax and peacefully while away the time.

    客室は田舎の温泉旅館のそれですが、食事の内容に大満足。温泉も広々としており、このお値段なら大満足です。地元の方々の宴会場としてもよく使われているようです。接客態度もとても良いです。

    ツーリングで利用しました。 バイクは納屋の中に停めさせてくれるので雨露をしのぐことができました。 湯田温泉郷の奥まった所に位置しています。建物は細長い感じです。 風呂から眺める川の景色がとっても気持ちの良いものでした。

    予約サイトの写真で見たよりもリビングやダイニングも広く感じられ、家にいるように快適にくつろげました。町から離れた森の中にあるので近くに食事できる場所はありませんが、調理用具や食器もあるので食材を持ち込んで調理しました。道をはさんで向かい側にある温泉も利用しました。

    夕食は隣のお部屋が空いていたため、そちらで食べることができました。ボリューム満点で、オプションでつけたきんきの焼き魚も脂がのっていてとにかく満腹になりました。お酒の種類が少ないのが少し残念でしたが、小さい宿なので需要がないのでしょう。スッポンの鍋も美味しくいただけました。朝食もおいしく、食べることが好きな人にはおすすめです。

    家族で日帰りで行きました。 浴室は広くて大勢のお客さんで賑わっていました。 サウナや寝湯、屋外に出て涼む事も出来て面白い施設だと思います。近くにコテージもあるので、そこに泊まれば徒歩で行けます。 残念なのは、食堂で食券方式の食事も出来るのですが、忙しい時間帯だとメニューを忘れられた事が過去にあり、なん十分経っても出て来なかった事があります。 そこを考慮すれば、まずまずの施設ではないでしょうか？
