    "This Buddhist temple is in Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture. You can reach it by taking a Kobe City bus to Maya Cable Shita, taking the Maya Ropeway to Hoshi-no-Shita Station, and then walking about ten minutes. It's a sacred site on devotional circuits like the Floral Temples of the Kansai Region, the New Saigoku, and the Kobe Jusanbutsu pilgrimages. It was founded in 646 by Hodo Sennin on the orders of Emperor Kotoku. On the precincts you'll find the Tenjikudo Hall that enshrines a marble image brought from India of Maya, the historical Buddha's wife, as well as the Hana Mandala Bell cast with the imprints of 33 kinds of flowers. The principle object of worship is a hibutsu ""hidden image"" that's thought to ward off evil and invite prosperity."

    Absolutely fantastic place. Beautiful temple in high mountains without thousands of people. So peaceful and quiet.

    "This temple belonging to the Otani Sect of Shin Buddhism is located about a 200-meters walk east of Onsenji Temple. The temple was founded in 1601 by the priest Ikenobo. During the Edo period it was a branch temple of Higashi-Honganji Temple known as Yunoyama Gobo. The flowering plum tree on its grounds is said to be more than two centuries old. The famous tree was named Mikaiko by Saint Jyonyo, the 19th high priest of Higashi-Honganji Temple, for the redness of its plum blossoms even as buds. Legend has it that a person who eats the fruit of the tree will be blessed with child, earning the tree the nicknames ""Harami no Ume"" and ""Nimushin no Ume."""

    有馬温泉のお土産屋が並ぶ道を更に登っていくとこのお寺があります。ここらにはもうお土産屋等は有りません。入口に車止めがありましたが、これが単純に車と理解するのか、それとも普通の参拝客も拒絶する意味なのか分からず、入口で引き上げました。説明書などは有りませんので由緒などは不明です。

    "This temple belonging to the Jodo sect of Pure Land Buddhism is located near Onsen zenji Temple and the Taiko no Yudono museum (Gokurakuji Temple). The temple's scenic elevated location is said to have been where the villa of Kita no Mandokoro (the official title of Toyotomi Hideyoshi's wife Nene) once stood. The shrine's main hall, which was constructed in 1712, is said to be the oldest building in Arima Onsen. The Temple, which is included in the Kobe Shichifukujin Meguri pilgrimage, enshrines Jurojin, one of the Seven Lucky Gods. The beautiful garden beyond the main temple building is known as ""Sarajuen"" after its large 250-year-old Japanese stewartia tree. The temple hosts a stewartia flower and single-stringed Koto (traditional Japanese string instrument) appreciation party when the tree's flowers come into full bloom in June."

    "This yakushido (temple dedicated to the Bhaisajyaguru) was established in the year 724, which marked the start of the Nara period. It is said to have been established by the priest Gyoki, who had been guided by the Bhaisajyaguru to visit Arima Onsen. The temple would later be revived by Saint Ninsai, the priest who rejuvenated Arima Onsen at the start of the Kamakura Period. Wooden statues of Gyoki and Ninsai have been enshrined on the grounds of the temple, which is known as ""Yakushi-san"" to locals. Every January 2nd the statues are ceremonially given their first bath of the year as part of a traditional celebration known as irizomeshiki."

    山の中のとても静かな場所にあります。 新緑も紅葉もとても綺麗です。 回りにはなにもありません。車で行くのも良いですが、山の中を歩いて行くことも出来、空気も景色も綺麗でオススメです。

    Hyogo Kobe-shi Kita-ku Arimacho 1645

    ねね橋近くの高台にあり、飲食店の間に山門へと続く石段がある。 727年創建の曹洞宗の寺院。本尊は阿弥陀如来。本堂は1757年築で木造瓦葺き。樹齢280年と言われるしだれ桜(イトザクラ)があり美しく花を咲かせていたが、養生のため境内は立ち入り禁止となっていた。

    ねね橋の上流に六甲川に架かる杖捨橋があります。そのそばにある浄土真宗本願寺派の寺院です。創建など詳細は不詳ですが、説明版によると親鸞上人や蓮如上人が祀られているそうです。

    開田寺は、JR摩耶駅から徒歩5分くらいのところにある臨済宗南禅寺派の寺院です。3月に摩耶駅近辺を散策した時に立寄りました。住宅地の中にある寺院です。クリーム色の塀、大きな本堂の屋根が目立つ寺院です。山門は開いており、そこから境内を垣間見ることができましたが、柵があり中には入れませんでした。本堂の前に蘇鉄がありました。残念ながら門外からの参拝です。神社仏閣に興味がある方は参拝されては如何でしょうか。

    阿彌陀寺はJR住吉駅の近くにある浄土宗の寺院です。2月に参拝しました。参道には、谷崎潤一郎の歌碑、住吉小学校・住吉村役場発祥の地碑がありました。鉄筋コンクリートのモダンな小楼門が参拝者を迎えてくれます。本堂は屋根が独特の形の素晴らしい建物でした（写真参照）。過去に見たことのないような形の本堂でした。神社仏閣に興味がある方は参拝されては如何でしょうか。

    だいたいおとなりの弓弦羽神社を訪れた際にいっしょに訪れました。神社と違ってお寺って、すこし入りにくい印象なのはいったいどうしてなんでしょう…。歴史のありそうな雰囲気のお寺でした。阪急御影駅から歩いて行けます。

    安念寺は、JR摂津本山から徒歩5分くらいのところにある真宗大谷派（東本願寺）の寺院です。2月に近辺の寺社を散策した時に参拝しました。形の良い山門、白塀、大きな本堂の寺院でした。円瓦に安の字が入っていたのが印象的でした。残念ながら山門は閉まっていましたので門外からの参拝です。神社仏閣に興味がある方は参拝されては如何でしょうか。

    本勝寺は、阪急六甲駅から徒歩5分のところにある法華宗本門流の寺院です。大本山は京都の本能寺です（本能寺の変で有名）。5月のゴールデンウイークに近辺を散策した時に参拝しました。二階建ての近代的な本堂の寺院です。境内に白いさつきの花が美しく咲いていました。神社仏閣に興味がある方は、参拝されては如何でしょうか。

    梅仙寺は、阪急六甲駅から徒歩3分くらいのところにある真宗大谷派の寺院です。阪急電車の車窓からも見ることができる寺院です。5月のゴールデンウイークに近辺を散策した時に立ち寄りました。残念ながら山門が閉まっており門外からの参拝です。山門のところに「六甲小学校発祥の地」、「六甲八幡発祥の寺」の碑がありました。この寺院は806年に漢の僧「梅仙阿闍梨」が来日し、麻耶山において仏母摩耶夫人の念持仏を深く崇敬し...

    理性院は、阪急六甲駅から徒歩10分くらいのところにある高野山真言宗の寺院です。5月のゴールデンウイークに近辺を散策した時に参拝しました。瓦葺の白塀に囲まれた寺院です。石の山門が参拝者を迎えてくれます。本堂は、木造瓦葺のものでした。境内に弥勒菩薩半跏思惟像（石像）がありました。境内は自由に参拝することができます。神社仏閣に興味がある方は参拝されては如何でしょうか。
