"A cafe and bar located on the first floor of the same building as WORLD KYOTO, a long standing Kyoto nightclub. Decorated in bright, primary colors, here customers can enjoy fresh cocktails and fruit juices. One item on the menu that people are particularly paying attention to is the ""eco-presso,"" espresso served in a cookie-based cup that you can eat. The inside of the cup is coated with icing that keeps the espresso from leaking out and also goes great with the bitter flavor of the beverage. A bar where you can take fun pictures, drink, and eat, the establishment is popular with men and women of all ages."

This jazz bar stands along the atmospheric cobbled streets of Pontocho Alley. The bar has always had a unique atmosphere since opening in this historic neighborhood some half century ago. The bar's mainstay is its vast selection of whiskeys, which includes bourbons, single malts, Irish whiskies, blended Scotches, and more. Guests can enjoy all the usual brands as well as number of rare and valuable ones. The bar holds concerts by professional musicians on weekends and holidays, allowing guests to enjoy live music up close.

Cosy and wonderfully designed, taking you back to the old days of bars and lounges. Crackly vinyl sounds of jazz and even some early Doris Day swoons. Great choice in whiskey selections.

This is a traditional old style bar located in Ponto-cho serving over 70 different single malts, and offering a menu of more than 500 varieties including brandy, wine and cocktails. The main seats are at the classic-style counter. The back of the shop faces a river, and during May to September, a Japanese style terrace seating is set up to enjoy the river views. The open space where you can enjoy unique cocktails is popular.

Rude and unpolite owner and staff, they refused a seat for a drink because there was a child without any reasons. Very bad place.

This bar located in the Shimogyo Ward of Kyoto City in Kyoto Prefecture stands out for its fashionable interior that calls to mind an early American brick warehouse. The interior is illuminated only by candlelight and moonlight instead of electric lights, and has the mellow, relaxed atmosphere of a hideaway place for adults. Along with the view of the Kamogawa River that can be seen from the window, guests can enjoy more than 300 types of alcoholic beverages. From May through September they carry on the summer tradition of kawadoko (a raised platform on the bank of a river for enjoying the cool in summer) and guests can experience the coolness of the Kamogawa River under the night sky.
