レストランの犬専用出入口があり、ペットと近江牛が食べれます。少々高めのお値段ですが、とても美味しかったです。特選近江牛のすき焼き2,500円。彩りは悪いけど、味は抜群。小型犬で抱っこできるなら、信楽焼きの展示スペースにも入ることができるそうです。

- A five-minute walk from the Bunka Zone-mae bus stop. This library adjoins The Museum of Modern Art, Shiga in Biwako Culture Park. The library houses a huge number of books; the general collection room contains 150 thousand volumes, the reference room 60 thousand volumes, and the children's room 40 thousand volumes. The library also has many magazines and newspapers. The library's hall is used to host concerts on Saturdays, while casual conversation meetups are held in the lounge on the third Friday of the month, and the library also serves as a space for local residents to rest and relax. Lastly, the library also has a restaurant.

- An ayu specialty restaurant located on the Yume-Kyobashi Castle Road in Hon-machi, Hikone City. Owned and operated by an aquaculture company which raises ayu, the restaurant serves gozen meals and a la carte dishes made with the company’s own ayu as well as fish from Lake Biwa. Irregularly on weekends, the restaurant also grills ayu in front of the restaurant with salt shioyaki style, which is available for purchase by passersby.

世界遺産候補の彦根城から車１０分ほどの場所にあります。 部屋は広くて素敵で、窓から琵琶湖を眺めることができました。 ホテル内にある近江亭という鉄板焼きレストランでディナーを頂きました。食事は美味しくて、雰囲気もサービスも良く、とても居心地が良かったです。 満足度の高いお勧めのリゾートホテルです。

Shiga Areas
Visitors to Shiga prefecture are almost always hopping east across the prefectural border from Kyoto, and they are almost certainly Lake Biwa-bound. Covering an area of 670 square kilometers, Lake Biwa makes up the bulk of Shiga prefecture, with beautiful lakeside paths that offer myriad walking and cycling opportunities, connecting a string of museums, shrines, and picturesque views that finally lead you to Hikone Castle on the eastern side of the lake.
