"This is a Japanese and Western sweets store that makes and sells kurikinton (pureed sweet chestnuts), a fall time treat that has long been loved by all kinds of cultured people such as travelers, waka poets and haiku poets visiting the Nakasendo post town. They use a brand chestnut ""Choicest Ena Chestnuts"" grown by local contract farmers, and have been making sweets that adapt to the trends and needs of the age. To make their most popular sweet ""Kurikinton,"" a prided masterpiece, carefully selected chestnuts are steamed with a little bit of sugar, and are then squeezed out carefully one by one. It is a local confectionery with a fun simple texture that will warm you from the inside. ""Four Season Kurikinton"" that reflect the colors of the four seasons, and ""Yamamatayama,"" a grilled manju (steamed cake) with chunky azuki bean paste inside are also popular."

    Gifu Mizunami-shi Isshikicho 4-48-3
"This cafe is located a seven-minute drive from the Chuo Expressway's Mizunami Interchange. You can taste fresh home-roasted coffee with the concept of ""fresh and healthy good quality coffee"" and ""a space for relaxation and comfort."" The menu displays four levels of roasting: light roasting with low bitterness, medium roasting with a good balance of sourness, sweetness and bitterness, slightly dark roasting with sweetness in the bitterness and richness, and dark roasting where you can taste the bitter essence of the coffee. It is fun to find your own favorite coffee from among them. In addition, it also holds a coffee workshop where you can learn to make authentic regular coffee at home."

    道を挟んで旧店舗と新店舗がある一軒家風カフェです。わりと有名なお店なのか?駐車場には近郊の他県ナンバーの車が多く停まっています。

This bakery is located a two-minute walk from Minosakamoto Station. It makes bread using homemade natural yeast in a small log cabin. The bread using Hoshino natural yeast is a popular item packed with the uniqueness of the store. It is recommended to eat it simply while enjoying the fragrant scent. The stone kiln that bakes bread as well as wheat, chestnuts, red beans and yeast was also built by the store. There are many products that you cannot find anywhere else such as panettone with yogurt yeast or bread with strawberry yeast.

This cafe is located right next to Toson Memorial Museum, and also sells souvenirs. Shimazaki Toson is said to have named the store “Yomogiya,” and it is in a renovation kominka (old house) with cloisters and a characteristically retro exterior. Its specialty is warabi-mochi (brack starch cakes covered in sweet soybean powder), and it is served as part of a set menu with one of three toppings (brown sugar syrup, roasted soybean flour and chunky adzuki red bean paste) and a drink. The shiratama zenzai (red bean soup with pounded rice dumplings) is also highly recommended, and you can choose the serving temperature. They are offer the drink called “Hatsukoi Ringo Juice” using apples from Magome. In addition, you can purchase things such as coffee cups, spoons and fans as souvenirs.
