Dozo
The cafe Dozo of Magome-juku, one of the 11 lodging stations in Kiso, has a nearly 120-year history. It features a hearth and was remodeled with a rice granary, as well as a counter made from 400-year-old white cedar. You can relax and enjoy some coffee or red bean soup in the retro atmosphere as you gaze out at the roads of Magome-juku and Nakatsugawa City. It’s about 20 minutes from the Nakatsugawa Interchange on the Chuo Expressway.
