- Kanagawa Yokosuka-shi Hashirimizu 1-2-19
- "This longstanding Japanese restaurant and attached inn is located right next to the Isecho bus stop on the bus line bound for Kannonzaki leaving from Maborikaigan Station on the Keikyu Main Line. The establishment stands in the Hashirimizu district, the location where the legend of Ototachibanahime is said to have taken place. The restaurant on the second floor is open to non-guests as well, and here customers can enjoy cuisine made with fresh, locally-caught seafood while taking in a view of Tokyo Bay. The Ototachibana Gozen lunch meal, inspired by the legend of Ototachibanahime, is particularly recommended. The establishment's original Ototachibanahime Roman no Sake is also popular. The restaurant also serves ""Gold Horse Mackerel,"" a brand name variety of horse mackerel from Hashirimizu caught in Tokyo Bay, prepared as sashimi, breaded and deep-fried, and as part of a set meal."

This place was nice. It is a small neighborhood restaurant where you sit on the floor and they only speak Japanese. We were waiting outside the restaurant because we were unsure how it worked when a...

Kanagawa Areas
Kanagawa prefecture acts as an extension of the Tokyo metropolis that spills over into coastal towns, most notably Yokohama city, heavily populated and known for its Chinatown and seaside attractions. Just the right distance for a day trip out of Tokyo, Kanagawa is home to some of Tokyo’s most accessible beaches, including around Kamakura, best known for its Big Buddha. Visitors can also travel a little farther afield for a weekend at Hakone onsen town.
