This commercial facility is directly connected to the central ticket gate of Machida Station. It sells apparel, shoes, jewelry and miscellaneous goods across a total of six floors, and it is especially notable for its large number of cafe shops, which offer lunch items such as omusubi (rice balls) and sandwiches, along with waffles, cake, and gelato for a quick break. The facility can be easily used in a variety of ways, from taking a break from shopping to eating lunch and buying gifts when visiting clients. There are also many 24-hour partner parking lots for easy convenience.

Tokyo Machidashi Nodutamachi 1000

An art museum located in Nozuta-machi, Machida City, Tokyo. The museum displays works by Maurice Utrillo, Auguste Rodin, and other artists as well as examples of beautiful minerals and rocks from around the world collected by NAC Co., Ltd. founder Yoshiyuki Nishiyama. The rose quartz sphere displayed in front of the museum has been recognized by the Guinness World Records organization as the largest in the world.

"This is the nickname for the building aimed at revitalizing the central area around Machida Station. ""Poppo"" means ""center"" in the Tama dialect. Because it is in the center of Machida City, this building was developed as a facility playing a central role in developing the area. Cafes and a wooden decked square are on the first floor facing the street, with many people taking breaks there while shopping. The building also houses many meeting rooms and event spaces, and farmers' markets and craft events are also held there on occasion."

This riding club boasts good access, being approximately 30 minutes from Shinjuku. It has 122 horses and about 2000 members, and is one of the largest in Tokyo. Tokyo Hachioji-shi Uratakaomachi Nishiasakawamachi

This is the collective name for the plum forest and trees scattered along Old Koshu Highway and the Kobotoke River. Its promenades include the Yuhodo plum forest, Sekisho plum forest, Tenjin plum forest, Arai plum forest, Yunohana plum forest, Surusashi plum forest, Kogesawa plum forest, Kobotoke plum forest, etc. In March, the best season for sightseeing the area, it is one of the best spots to view plum flowers in Tokyo, with about 10,000 red and white plum trees displaying their colors over about 4.5 kilometers. The Takao Baigo Plum Festival, which is held every March, includes stalls, food shops and koto performances at each plum forest. Among them, the Kobotoke plum forest, said to be the birthplace of Takao Baigo, is a must-see.

Located just a one minute walk away from Takaosanguchi Station on the Keio Takao Line. Established in 1996, this museum is dedicated to trick art. A popular tourist destination, the museum has been featured on TV, in newspapers, and via a variety of other media. The museum is filled with every kind of trick art imaginable, and not only are you allowed to take photos and videos, but many of the exhibits can be touched as well. With special approval from the Egyptian embassy, the museum also has ancient Egypt-themed exhibits featuring the Sphinx and mummies, and the museum shop offers goods imported directly from Egypt.

This green park is located in a green hilly area in the northwestern part of Machida City. There are many spots in the park that still retain the original landscape of Tama Hills, and many visitors enjoy light hiking and excursions in the park. From Miharashi Square with an elevation of 123 meters, you can look out at the scenery, the panoramic view encompasses from Tanzawa to the Tama Hills, and you can get a clear view of Mt. Fuji on good days.

A garden located along Metropolitan Road 46 in Todori-machi, Hachioji City, Tokyo. Although operated as a research facility by the Forestry and Forest Products Research Institute, a portion of the garden is open to the public. Consisting of three arboretums, a forest for conserving various cherry tree varieties, and a museum which presents the garden's research findings, visitors can take a guided tour and learn about how the natural environment in the area changes over the four seasons and see the birds, mammals, and insects which make their home in the garden.

A mountain located on the border between the prefectures of Tokyo and Kanagawa. The starting point of a trail leading up the mountain can be reached by taking a bus from Takaosan Station, getting off at the Kobotoke bus stop, and walking a further 15 minutes. At the top of the mountain, visitors can enjoy a sweeping view of the Hachioji area; there are also two teahouses serving light meals. A quiet, laid-back ramen restaurant. The restaurant only has counter seats, meaning you can ignore your surroundings and concentrate on taking your time and enjoying a delicious bowl of ramen. Consisting of a light broth; thin, crimped noodles; and simple toppings, Raimon's ramen is renowned for having a flavor that never tires. Other popular items on the menu include the filling and wallet-sparing takikomi gohan mixed rice set, and Raimon's slow-roasted chicken wings.

約５年ぶりくらいの訪問です。前に来たときはとても美味しかったのですが今回は普通に感じられました。塩気が濃く感じてうまみが少ないように感じました。味が変わったのではなくて歳をとったので味覚が変わってそう感じたのかも知れません。コロナ対応で入り口にはアルコール消毒はありましたが、店内は雑然として入って右側などは袋小路で換気も悪くコロナ対策として不安を感じました。

This soba buckwheat noodle shop is on the road running from the Keio Line's Takahata Fudo Station to Takahata Fudoson Temple. The popular shop is often full of temple visitors and tourists at lunchtime. Everything on their soba menu has kamaboko fish cakes with a mark of the characters that make up the shop's name. Their Fukuyose Soba with fried tofu and shrimp tempura is especially popular, as is the Kaiun Soba with nori seaweed, sesame, and bonito flakes. Table seating, tatami mat floor seating, and private rooms are all available. Their banquet menu has the Shinsengumi set featuring their Kaiun Soba along with soba sushi roll and tempura sushi roll. They also serve delicious Japanese sweets like soba dumplings and warabi mochi rice cakes.
