    "Hondo-ji Temple is a famous temple of the Nichiren sect that has been nicknamed ""the hydrangea temple"" and ""the autumn leaf temple."" In early summer, over 10,000 hydrangea plants and 5,000 irises adorn the temple grounds with their blossoms, and in autumn, about 1,000 maple trees turn a brilliant red and yellow."

    We loved the Sakura and the peaceful atmosphere. Don’t miss the gold top of one building. It is pretty stroller friendly too.

    A temple in Kogane, Matsudo City. It was founded by the monk Gutei Shonin in 1481. You can enjoy all four seasons on the temple grounds including a 300-year-old weeping cherry tree and every year from April 25th to 27th they hold the Gyoki Festival, a memorial service for monk Honen Shonin, drawing large crowds of parishioners.

    "Called ""Koryuzan Fusebenten Tokaiji Temple,"" this Shingon sect temple of the Buzan school is dedicated to Benzaiten. It was established in 807 by Kukai, and the main temple, tower gate and bell tower have been designated important cultural properties by Chiba Prefecture. Besides being popular as a power spot as one of the three Kanto Benten, it is also known as a place famous for cherry blossoms, and it bustles with many people coming to see the flowers in the spring."

    春に訪問してみてください。門前のしだれ桜が素敵です。このお寺のそばには、カフェや一茶双樹記念館もありますので散策にはもってこいです。すぐそばに江戸川の土手では菜の花がたくさん咲いて綺麗でした。

    平和台駅から徒歩5分ほど。 1607年創建の浄土宗の寺院。本尊は阿弥陀如来坐像。流山七福神の恵比寿。 まっすぐ伸びる参道の脇には六地蔵が鎮座している。新選組隊士が分宿した寺院であり、毎年4月に「近藤勇忌」が行われているとのこと。

    流山駅から徒歩3分。駅前を直進したところにある。 1326年創建の日蓮宗の寺院。明治時代初期に千葉大学教育学部の前身となる「印旛官員共立舎」が置かれたとのこと。境内には市の保存樹木に指定されている銀杏があったが、枝が刈り取られており寒々しい光景であった。

    山門を入り右側にペットの供養墓 犬と猫の石像が上に乗ってます 生きているような仕上がりに亡くなったペットのオーナーは涙が出てしまいそうです 山門前に駐車場が有ります

    大晦日、大風突風の中除夜の鐘を突きに行きました。鐘楼を持つ寺院は、市内で13ヶ所あるんですね。11時45分から一般の方々につかせていただけるお寺。寒さの中続々ときて長蛇の列になっています。煩悩を打ち払い新しい年と新しい自分を迎えられるようにと一突きしました。終わるとお寺の方が甘酒を用意してくれいただきました。

    境内中央の白いしだれ桜が圧巻です。 門前に数本ある桜もボリュームがありますね。 根元保護の囲いはありますがしだれ の傘の下にも入れます。 鐘楼に登るとちょっとプチ俯瞰ができます。

    柏駅東口から約１０分落ち着いた通り沿いにあります。 右側がお墓になっています。 静かな趣きで非常に落ち着きます。 その中で面白いものが。 開運 五重亀(写真をご参照) 「撫でれば幸運を招く」 そうです。 一番上の亀から順番に撫でてきました。
