    A fun and entertainment-oriented farm which raises flowers and animals. The farm also operates a motorhome campground and camping cottages in July and August, and the conveniences offered here make the farm particularly popular with families. What makes Mother Farm so special is its numerous areas and activities, including a petting zoo, seasonal flowers, fruit picking, flower picking, handicraft classes, and adventure. There’s also shopping—choose from among an abundance of unique Mother Farm souvenirs.

    お正月の昼過ぎにステーキをいただきました。20分程待合いスペースで順番を待ちました。レジでお支払いしてから、山と空がきれいに見える窓際の席へ。お料理の提供時間はそれほどかからず、見ていると回転も悪くないようでした。アルパカのカレーが可愛らしく、自家製ソーセージも合わせて次回のお楽しみにしたいと思います。

    Narita Yume Bokujo is a tourist dairy farm located in Nagi, Narita City. Besides interacting with the animals, there are a wide range of other activities for visitors to enjoy, including Segway rides, tractor-drawn wagon rides, an adventure playground, and a dog run, etc. There is also a campsite with parking for cars, which has saunas, coin-operated showers, etc. At Narita Yume Bokujo’s shop, visitors can buy first-class dairy products, as well as a range of other food products and local specialty gift items.

    This nearly 6,000 square meter agritourism farm, the largest in Chiba Prefecture, is where you can enjoy strawberry picking. The strawberries cultivated on an upper and lower level in a greenhouse can be picked while in a comfortable posture, without bending over. Inside the facility, there are also log playground equipment and baby cots, making it easy for families to come and visit. In addition, blueberries are harvested in the summer.

    規模の大きいいちご狩り園です。棚が2段になっているので、しゃがまずにいちご狩りができてお子さんにも大人にも取りやすいと思いました。練乳は別売りでカップに入れて販売されます。人数の多いグループなら事前にチューブのものでも購入していった方がお得だと思います。イチゴはとても大粒で甘く、大変おいしいです。とはいえそんなには食べられないので、正直元は取れないと思いますが、体験としては楽しめると思います。

    Mushrooms are grown in Sakura Kinokoen (Mushroom Farm) without the use of any agricultural chemicals, and visitors can gather shiitake or wood ear mushrooms here. There is also a roofed-over barbecue area on the grounds with a capacity of 160 persons, so that visitors can immediately cook and eat the mushrooms they have just gathered. They can purchase additional ingredients in the shop on the premises, as well as bringing in their own food and beverages.

    ハウス内で菌床栽培のしいたけ狩りを楽しめます。入場料、時間制限は無く、良く吟味できます。質は良く新鮮で高価です。高速道路料金や時間労力をかけて行くに足るかは考え方次第。

    This farm on the Nagasa Highway grows Akihime and Benihoppe strawberries. They hold all-you-can-eat pickings from December to late May. There is no time limit, so you can snack away at your own pace. They also sell souvenirs, as well as locally grown vegetables and flowers.

    いちご園というと大体３０分くらいの時間制限がありますが、こちらは無制限です。その分ゆっくり思う存分楽しめました。

    This historic ranch and Chiba Historic Site is known as the birthplace of Japanese dairy farming. Mineoka Ranch got its start during the Warring States period when feudal lords of the Satomi clan set the land aside for grazing warhorses. Later, in the Edo period, it came under the direct control of the Shogunate, when three white cows from India were introduced for the production of butter and other dairy products. They still raise milk cows along with goats, and there's an area where you can encounter the animals in a natural setting. Their Dairy Museum showcases the history of dairy farming with panel displays and equipment exhibits. There is also a shop that sells fresh soft serve ice cream.

    "This farm cultivates 15 varieties of strawberries including originals ones and those bred in Chiba Prefecture such as ""Fusanoka"" and ""Shunho."" Besides 30-minute all-you-can-eat strawberry picking, the farm also sells handmade strawberry jam and jelly."

    Sudo Farm is a destination farm where visitors can try their hands at churning butter or making craft items out of wool. Every year in May, a play is performed about cows and dairy farming, with a tour of the farm included. (This play was created as a learning experience for elementary and middle school children, and reservations are required.) The cafe on the farm serves freshly produced and blended Holstein and Jersey milk, soft ice cream made with rich milk and other sweets, hot dogs, and other snacks.

    A strawberry farm adjacent to Roadside Station Mizu-no-Sato Sawara along the Tone Suigo Line Road in Sawara, Katori City. They grow three types of strawberries, Akihime, Benihoppe, and Kaorino, and are open for strawberry picking from late December to May. The strawberries are grown in a two-tiered upper and lower tier system making it easy for every to pick strawberries, even children and those in wheelchairs.

    This agricultural park conducts approximately 70 kinds of harvesting experiences throughout the year, including cultivated sweet potatoes, peanuts and soybeans, and non-pesticide vegetables, fruits and herbs. In the garden and indoor barbecue facility, you can taste picked vegetables, and SPF pork from the Hirano Pig Farm and grilled seafood with a reservation. You can also bring your own ingredients. The salad using vegetables grown on the farm and their smoothies are popular menu items.

The outdoor rest area is sheltered from the rain by overhanging grape vines, and the sun shining through the trees makes it a great picnic spot, where you can bring your own lunch.

    This corn farm is situated on National Route 409 15 minutes from the Shisui Interchange on the Higashi-Kanto Expressway. The farm utilizes a proprietary organic method to cultivate Gold Rush, a highly sweet variety of fruit corn. This corn tastes very sweet even when eaten raw, and is also juicy. During the harvesting season in mid-July, this corn has a Brix value of 20 degrees, even sweeter than a muskmelon. In summer, the farm offers corn picking. Visitors can also enjoy fresh corn picked that very morning, grilled on the cob or just plain raw.

    木更津周辺のいちご狩り園がみな満員だったので遠くまで足を運んでみましたが、美味しいイチゴをお腹いっぱい食べられて大満足でした。受付場所のとなりが道の駅なのも良かったです。
