    This long-established inn on the banks of the Tone River, about seven minutes from the Minakami Interchange on the Kanetsu Expressway, was founded in 1927. There are 15 baths, each with its own unique atmosphere, including the “Bokusui-no-Yu”, using the valuable architecture from the time the inn was founded, and an outdoor bath where you can hear the babble of the stream and view the fresh green and autumn foliage as well as a snow scene, etc. The water quality is calcium / sodium sulfate chloride, said to be effective in easing neuralgia and poor circulation etc. The bath is available for day use and combining it with an outdoor experience is also popular.

This extremely cute restaurant is recommended for girls to visit. The items on the menu, made possible by the tomato farm, include Green Tomato Pickles and Tomato Farm Premium Hayashi Rice, which is made with bright red tomatoes and domestic beef that are stewed until they lose their form. The restaurant's sweets, such as the buckwheat Galette, are also recommended. The restaurant is only open irregularly during the spring and summer months, as it gives priority to the farm during this time. It is, however, open for business as usual when the ski resort opens each year.

    This sweets shop is located along the Japan Romantic Road in Nakamachi, Numata City. It boasts an excellent fluffy and moist Baumkuchen, baked painstakingly with a goodly amount of rum. There are several types, including a standard type, which is coated with chocolate, and also a plain type, which contains no chocolate on their standard menu. Additionally, the shop has a rich line of seasonal limited items including choco-kuchen which has chocolate mixed into the dough and lemon-kuchen which uses a lemon-chocolate mix. The shop is so adorable and fairy-like, it has even been a candidate for the filming of a TV drama.

    This drive-in is located near Fukiware Falls, a nationally designated Natural Monument, which is located along National Route 120, off the Kan-etsu Expressway Numata Interchange. The drive-in sells food and souvenirs, and also has free parking. The restaurant's Maitake Kamameshi and Maitake Gohan dishes, made with the local specialty Maitake mushrooms are very popular. There is also a direct sales center for Oigami Maitake Farm, which has plenty of fresh Maitake mushrooms for sale. The drive-in is fully-stocked with local signature products, such as The Emperor's Kuriyokan, Highland scarlet runner beans and Joshu's local sake, among others.

    This multipurpose dam was constructed at the uppermost part of the Tone River and is located approximately 45 minutes from the Kan’etsu Expressway Minakami Interchange. This precious water source, also known as the Kanto Water Bottle, is a 131-meter vertical height concrete arch dam that was completed in 1967. Lake Okutone, which was formed with the completion of this dam has been selected as one of Top 100 Dam Lakes and is the largest in Okutone. The surrounding beech forest is reflected in the still lake water, and its beauty stands out especially well when the trees are green or turning red in the autumn. The lake is inaccessible in the winter from early December to early May.

    "This service area is located towards Katashina Village, via National Route 120 from the Kan’etsu Expressway Numata Interchange. It is in Hatomachi Toge Pass, one of the gateways to Oze. The location is perfect, with the Hatomachisanso accommodation facility established here, as a base when accessing to Mt. Shibutsu, one of Japan’s top 100 famous mountains, and Heaven’s Paradise Ayamedaira. There are stores, restaurants and souvenir shops that sell local Katashina Village ""Oze brand"" merchandise, mountaineering goods and so on. Among these, the original Scarlet Runner Bean Soft Cream is very popular. During the season, due to car access limitations, it is recommended to take a bus or taxi from Tokura nearby."

    This multifunctional dam was constructed across the Naramata River, a tributary of Tone River, the north of Yu no Koya Hot Spring, in Minakami Town, Tone County, Gunma Prefecture. Completed in 1989, at a height of 158 meters, this rock-fill dam is the third highest in Japan. The fresh green and autumn leaves are beautiful, and from the observation deck which also has a dam museum, visitors can enjoy a wide panorama of Okutone, looking out at Mt. Shibutsu and Mt. Kasagadake and the other mountains of Oze. Visitors can enjoy outdoor sports, such as canoeing and fishing at Lake Naramata, which was formed by the dam, and there are also many campsites in the area.

    This is one of “Japan's 100 famous mountains” located between the border of Gunma Prefecture and Tochigi Prefecture. The summit is 2,144 meters high and the beautiful mountain is an old stratovolcano that has eroded, and is now covered with moss, forests and flowers. There is a long ridge extending east to west, however more than 500 meters of the mountain has fallen on the north side. There are two climbing routes from the Ginzandaira on the Tochigi Prefecture side or from Fudosawa on Gunma Prefecture side. For beginners. it is recommended to climb the mountain from the Gunma side. It is close to Mt. Sukai and you can climb to the top in a relatively short period of time.

    This waterfall station is located approximately 20 minutes along National Route 120, from the Kan-etsu Expressway Numata Interchange. It is a rest area near Fukiware Falls, a nationally designated natural treasure. There are restaurants and direct sale vegetable stores, as well as free toilets and parking. The direct sales stores sell a wide range of cheap, fresh produce such as corn in the summer and apples and mushrooms in the autumn. The restaurants sell local dishes such as Ginger Roast and cutlets made with Joshu Mochi pork and dishes made with fresh, local vegetables, which are popular thanks to being homemade and having a relaxing flavor.

    This cherry tourist farm is located in Showa Village, Tone County, Gunma Prefecture. The farm covers approximately 4.5 square kilometers, and 230 trees are grown on the farm, including 10 different types of cherry such as Kanka cherries and Chugoku cherries. The farm has a vinyl roof, so visitors can enjoy picking cherries regardless of the weather. In addition to eating the cherries onsite, visitors can also take their picked cherries home with them in souvenir gift packs. There is also a yearly opening event which features mochi-making and cherry daifuku-tasting.

    These falls are large cascades with a 50-meter drop located near Hotaka-jinja Shrine in Minakami Town, Tone County, Gunma Prefecture, and are also known as Horai-no-Taki Falls. Legend has it that Yamato Takeru-no-Mikoto prayed here for rain. Originally the falls were observed from behind, hence their name, but recently, due to the danger of rock falls, it is forbidden to take the path behind the falls. The view from the lookout nearby is spectacular and the water splashing as it flows into the basin is breathtaking. You can feel the minus ions around you.

It offers all-you-can-eat cherry picking, apple picking and peach picking experiences, where visitors can compare the tastes of several different types of each fruit. Cherry jam with a strong acidic taste, apple jam made with Jonathon apples and freshly squeezed apple juice are also available for purchase from the gift shop. In the restaurant, customers can enjoy countryside okkirikomi, made with vegetables picked that same morning and locally produced udon, as well as hometown barbeque and other menu items. The farm is completely barrier-free for easy-access.

The restaurant is directly managed by Minori Farm, a combined farming area, which covers approximately 26,500 square meters. Visitors can enjoy hearty meals made with fresh vegetables from the farm and the local area. The restaurant’s most popular dish, ""Rye Pizza Minori-style"", is made with a crisp, thin base and plenty of seasonal vegetables. The Stewed Spare Rib Tomato Sauce is made with a special tomato sauce, cooked gently and served with either rice or homemade rice bread. They also recommend the scarlet runner bean baked pudding and other desserts."

    This udon restaurant is located near the K's Denki Numata-ten store, approximately eight minutes' drive from Numata Interchange on the Kan-etsu Expressway. This Japanese-style restaurant has a calm atmosphere and customers can look out its large windows to view the scenery of the river terrace. On its regular menu is the superbly tender Joshu beef, a brand of Gunma beef with a rich flavor in its sukiyaki udon, along with shrimp and maitake mushroom tempura, which comes as a set with Akagi Gozen and duck soup udon, made with duck meat from Poland. There is also a seasonal menu, which includes chilled himokawa udon and okkirikomi noodles which are often made at home. There are also classes available for groups who would like to experience making their own udon.

    お勧めは、「おっ切り込み」(1,350円)です。食べ方も教えてもらいます。幅広うどんを海老天ぷら、豚肉と野菜がたくさん入った甘辛い出汁で煮込んだ鍋です。〆の雑炊もとても旨かった! 窓からも駐車場からも沼田の河岸段丘がはっきりと見えますよ。

    This is a lake surrounded by virgin forests on the Gunma Prefecture side of Oze National Park in Katashina Village. The lake was formed by lava flow from Mt. Nikko-Shirane damming the lake. As the water depth increases the water color changes from emerald green to indigo and the water has one of the highest degrees of transparency in Japan. The vivid contrast of the green color of the trees from early summer to summer, and the reds and yellow hues of the leaves in autumn reflecting on the lake’s surface are spectacular. The lake is also known in Japan as one of the few at an altitude 1,731 meters. There is also a campsite by lake, and visitors can enjoy canoeing experiences as well.
