This ropeway spanning Tanigawadake at the border of Gunma Prefecture and Niigata Prefecture connects the 746-meter altitude Doaiguchi Station with the Tenjindaira Station located at an altitude of 1,319 meters. There is also an observatory, and visitors can use a lift to reach Tenjin Toge Pass which is the start of a hiking route. The trekking course from Tenjin Toge follows the mountain ridge and takes about two and a half hours, and is a veritable treasure house for plants such as　Hosobahinayukiso (a kind of Leontopodium Fairriei). The large 360-degree panoramic view from the top of the mountain affords spectacular vistas of the surrounding mountains, and is a very popular hiking course that is suitable even beginners.

This roadside station is located at the entrance of Takumi no Sato, on Gunma Nakanojo-yugawara Prefectural Route 53, which hosts a variety of historical agricultural experience facilities. There is an information center with guide maps of the village and also rental bicycles ideal for exploring. The restaurant’s Galettes, which are made in a similar way to crepes with 100% Minakami-produced buckwheat flour and topped with seasonal vegetables and mushrooms, are also very popular. Tambara Lavender Park is a facility that opens every year from late June to early September where a lavender field and more than 100 types of wonderful flowers can be seen. In the summer two lifts operate and visitors can see the Tambara groves and highlands as well as the lavender fields from above, as if walking on air. The roadside station is about ten minutes by car from the Numata Interchange on the Kanetsu Expressway. It stands on National Route 120 located at the entrance to Oze and Oku-Nikko Senjogahara battlefield. At “The Shirasawa”, a direct sales market, locally produced agricultural goods, honey and juice are available. The seasonal flavors of the “Shirasawa Kogen Soft”, a soft serve ice cream made of creamy milk from the Shirasawa Kogen Ranch, available between spring and autumn, is also popular. Visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of Mt. Akagi and the surrounding mountains as well as the river terraces of the Katashina River from the Shirasawa Kogen Hot Spring “Bokyo Onsen” on site.

This bathing facility is located in Tanigawa Onsenkyo Hot Spring Village. The facility is unusual in Japan, because it uses water from three different sources. The hot springs are simple alkaline spring water in the Fudo no Yu bath, calcium sodium sulphate chloride spring water in the Kajika no Yu bath, and simple spring water in the Hotaru no Yu bath. The large, open outdoor bath was built along the river, and visitors can enter the bath from the decking at the back of the building. There are also shops and rest facilities available inside the building.

This day-trip hot spring is in the Sarugakyo onsen area, surrounded by the abundant nature. It is located approximately 20 minutes from the Kan’etsu Expressway Tsukiyono Interchange, along National Route 17. It has Sato no Yu, an outdoor bath surrounded by a rock garden and Tanabata no Yu, a stone-pitched western-style bath, from both of which, visitors can enjoy the natural views of Lake Akaya and the star-filled sky. The private hot spring and the sauna bags are also recommended. The calcium sodium sulfate spring water is drawn directly from the source and free flowing. It is said to be effective for nerve pain and sensitivity to cold, etc. There are also a variety of activities, including barbequing and kayaking experiences.

みなかみ猿ヶ京温泉の日帰り温泉「まんてん星の湯」にてお食事。群馬県民のソウルフードなる「もつ煮込み定食」を食べました。もつ煮込みは全く特別感はないけれど、柔らかく煮込まれていで美味しいです。ただ、群馬でしか食べられないといったものでもないから、珍しさはまったくないです。妻ちゃんの海老天ざるは水が良いためか、すこぶる美味でした。

"A seven minute drive by car from Jomo-Kogen Station on the JR Joetsu Shinkansen line. The lord Sanada Masayuki built the castle that once stood here in 1579 at the conjunction between the Tone and Akaya Rivers. The ruins were designated a Historic Site by Gunma Prefecture in 1949. After the broadcast of the popular television drama ""Sanada Maru"" on NHK, a portion of the ruins were restored in 2015 and in 2017 the castle was selected in a second edition to a list of Japan’s top 100 castles. The trees and stone monuments in the area convey the weight of its history."

小田原征伐のきっかけとなった小城。沼田城から目と鼻の先に敵の小城がポツンとあれば攻めたくもなります。そうなるように真田昌幸が秀吉を唆して残した城なのでしょう。城の縄張りが復元されていて戦国時代の戦うための城がどういうものかがわかります。桜もきれいで、超穴場花見スポットです。

"This temple is located approximately three minutes’ walk from Kichijoji Iriguchi bus stop, after taking the Kawaba loop bus from the JR Joetsu Line's Numata Station. This Zen temple of the Rinzai sect was opened in 1339 by Ujitoki Otomo of Kencho-ji Temple in Kamakura as head temple. Due to its location as the northernmost Kencho-ji Temple, it is also known as the North Gate of Kencho-ji. The temple grounds are home to the Kichijo-ji Hundred Flower Gardens, also known as the ""Temple of Flowers"", with flower beds of Mizubasho flowering in the Spring and Higanbana flowering in the Autumn. There are two types of outdoor bath available, the Kaze no Yu, featuring a rock garden overflowing with rustic beauty, and the Kou no Yu, which is surrounded by different flowers, depending on the season, as well as the bed-rock bath, which uses almandine from Katashina Village. It is a simple alkaline hot spring and is said to be effective for nerve pain, muscle pain and recovery from fatigue, etc. There is also a popular restaurant called Hanasaki, which serves ginger roast Joetsu pork and direct sale outlets, which sell products directly from the farms.

This ropeway extends from Higashi-ogawa, Katashina Village, Tone County to a 2,000-meter-high point on Mt. Nikko-Shirane. It is 2,500 meters long in total and has a 600-meter difference in elevation, and it takes about 15 minutes to cross one way. In addition, the limited-time “ropeway night cruise” and “sunset cruise” offer wonderful views of the night sky. The valuable “family pack” includes two adult tickets and one elementary school children’s ticket, and there’s also a “super-value pack” that includes entry to a hot spring.

In addition to the direct sales outlets which sell vegetables freshly picked from Showa Village, there is also a natural footbath which is safe to lie down at even if it rains, among other facilities. In the Farm Restaurant, visitors can enjoy set meals and ramen made with fresh, local vegetables. The soft cream which uses seasonal fruits is also popular. And in the neighboring Agrimu Farm, visitors can enjoy experiencing harvesting seasonal vegetables. The Agrimu Rakugyo farming experience which allows people to rent a farm is open all year round and is also very popular.

This day-trip hot spring facility is located approximately 10 minutes from the Kan-etsu Expressway Minakami Interchange. 100% of the spring water is drawn directly from the ancient source of the spring. There are two types of bath in the facility, the heated indoor cypress bath and the warm outdoor bath, which is left at its natural temperature. Visitors can relax while enjoying both of these. The outdoor bath faces the Anogawa River, and visitors can enjoy the fresh green of the summer and the autumn leaves in the fall. Looking out at the snowy landscape is also especially popular in the winter. It is a calcium sulfate spring, and it is also possible to drink the spring water. In addition to the restaurant, there is also a fishing pond and a barbeque area where visitors can salt-grill their catches.
