Drive-in

This drive-in is located near Fukiware Falls, a nationally designated Natural Monument, which is located along National Route 120, off the Kan-etsu Expressway Numata Interchange. The drive-in sells food and souvenirs, and also has free parking. The restaurant's Maitake Kamameshi and Maitake Gohan dishes, made with the local specialty Maitake mushrooms are very popular. There is also a direct sales center for Oigami Maitake Farm, which has plenty of fresh Maitake mushrooms for sale. The drive-in is fully-stocked with local signature products, such as The Emperor's Kuriyokan, Highland scarlet runner beans and Joshu's local sake, among others.

地元のもち豚を使ったカツカレーと、同じく特産のマイタケを使った天ぷらと二八蕎麦の天ざるをいただきました。ここへ辿り着くまで「上州沼田とんかつ街道」を走ってきたので、カツが食べたくなって。(^_^;

At Kusatsu, Ikaho, and Minakami, traditional indoor and outdoor bathing experiences are served hand in hand with irresistible onsen-themed food, including steam-cooked eggs and custard pudding.
