    A long-established souvenir store founded in 1900 and located in front of the yubatake (hot water field and spring source) in Kusatsu, Kusatsu Town. The shop sells a wide variety of souvenirs such as confectionery, local sake, noodles and pickles, and miscellaneous goods. The shop’s own brand Yukemuri Series which includes bath powders and shampoo, etc. using the natural spring waters and mineral deposits from Kusatsu Onsen are also popular.

    This souvenir shop’s doorway curtain hangs in the Kusatsu Onsenkyo Hot Spring Village Yubatake area. The name of the shop comes from the legend of Minamoto no Yoritomo, who was healed by Kusatsu’s spring water. The main souvenir sold here is Tamari pickles, which is one of the local delicacies. There are also unusual pickled foods such as onions lining the shelves. There are perfect gourmet food for eating on the move. There are also hot Amazake for adults and Gunma’s famous Konjac Oden. One of the most popular items on the plentiful menu is the slow-boiled egg which is cooked in hot spring water. It can be served in a cup, so it is easy to eat, or taken home to eat, since it will keep for a long time.

    美味しいお蕎麦のお店です。 美味しい天ぷらもついて900円ととてもリーズナブル。 お茶はオリジナルの健康茶を出してくださる、素敵なお店でした。 きびのおにぎり、おしるこ、ヤマブドウのジュースを頂きましたがどれも美味しかったです。

    長野原草津口駅の横にあるお土産屋さん兼食堂です。 周囲には他にお店がないので、電車の時間待ちにぶらぶらするのに便利です。 食堂は蕎麦うどんなどの軽食系のみですが、シンプルで悪くないお味でした。

    駅前にあり、昔懐かしい感じのお土産やさんでした。 店内はお酒も売っており、バスを待つ間チンした熱々のおやきとビールを頂きました。美味しかったです。 店員さんもとても優しかったです。
