    Visitors to Shikisai-no-oka in the summer can enjoy the beautiful vistas of colorful flower fields, while in the winter they can experience standing in the midst of a vast expanse of snow. Besides the extensive flower gardens, farmers’ fields and Alpaca ranch, Shikisai-no-oka also has a farm guesthouse where visitors can stay. The farm shop sells vegetables grown locally, as well as other products sourced directly from local farmers. Shikisai-no-oka is located 25 minutes’ walk from JR Bibaushi Station.

    Open from late-April to early-October, visitors to Hill of Zerubu and Hill of Atoms can gaze over the nature of Mt Asahidake and the Tokachi Mountain Range while surrounded by beautiful fields of flowers. They’re located about a 50-minute drive on National Route 237 from the Asahikawa-Takasu Interchange on the Hokkaido Expressway. Alternatively, it’s a five-minute taxi or 35-minute walk from the JR Biei Station.

    Its free of charge and close to Biei center, offers some flower fields with less crowds than other famous places like Tomita farm and Shikiasai no Oka.

In addition, there's the Sun Patio Ono farmers' market, which sells local produce; and the Osuto local specialty products hall.     国道175号線の近くにある公園。 『公園』と名乗っていながらも結構な大きさ(約80,000m²)を持っており、入り口や出口を見失うことがあった。 しかし、それを除けば文句なし。 ひまわりの丘公園は、北播磨で最大の観光スポットではないかと勝手に自分で思っている。 四季折々に見せる花の景色が最高で、SNSで映えること間違いなし。 写真を撮るのに熱中したのはこの『ひまわりの丘公園』が初めてだと思う。

    This is a Jodoshu (Pure Land sect of Buddhism) temple in Ogigayatsu, Kamakura City. Its honorific mountain name is Tokozan and it is Kamakura’s only nunnery, founded by the nun Eisho-in. It was called the Mito Palace and the Mito Convent since daughters of the Mito clan served as the chief nun in the times before the Meiji period. Several areas on the temple grounds have been designated as Important Cultural Properties, including the temple building, which bears the vestiges from the time of its establishment, the main temple gate, and the belfry.

The area around Hodagaike Pond in the center of the hot spring district is maintained as a bigleaf hydrangea garden and has become a famous sightseeing spot. At the present time, more than 50 thousand hydrangea plants of varying colors and sizes are grown around the pond. The best time to see the hydrangea flowers is from June 1 to 30, and during this time a hydrangea festival is also held in the area. Special busses operate during the festival and a variety of events like haiku recitations and rare hydrangea exhibitions are held. At night, the area is lit up, giving visitors the chance to enjoy the beauty of the hydrangea in a way different from that of the day.

    昨年は開催が中止でしたが、今年は開催という事で訪れましたが、駐車場も満員でかなり待ちましたが、紫陽花の素晴らしさに感動でした。 広大な敷地にたくさんの種類の紫陽花が咲きほこり、圧巻でした。紫陽花に囲まれた階段を上がり、上から見下ろした景色も素晴らしかったです。 不安が続く状況ですが、あまりの素晴らしさに癒されました。

    This flower garden is located in the Ise Onsen Golf Club which is a five-minutedrive from HisaiInterchange on the Ise Expressway. As the first flower garden in Japan to incorporate horticultural welfare, it combines aspects of environment and welfare. From early February to late March, 500 plum trees of 45 types carpet the lawn with their red and white petals, and around Golden Week, the 1800 trellises of nine different types of wisteria tree blossom with their large clusters of flowers. The low rolling hills of the garden make it the largest in Japan, and in June, visitors can take a stroll through the soothing flowery lanscape, which with its 56 different types of 75,000 hydrangea flowers, entertains the eye with endlessly delightful changes of colors.

    紫陽花まつりに行って来ました。ゴルフ場内の広大な敷地に色とりどりの紫陽花が咲いていました。園内には池や湿地帯も有り自然観察も出来ます。入口から送迎用ゴルフカートも出ているので身体の不自由な方も近くまで乗せてもらえます。園内はアップダウンが有り、足場が悪い所も有るのでスニーカーで出かける事をお勧めします。

    A rose garden in a spacious urban park in Iwamizawa City. Some 630 varieties of European and Japanese roses and 9,000 individual plants are cultivated on the 40 thousand hectare grounds. Due to the abundant variety and differing blooming periods, visitors can enjoy rose blossoms from the beginning of spring around March to early autumn around October. A rose festival is held here every June along with a variety of events. In the garden's restaurant, you can eat authentic Napoli pizza baked in a real stone oven.

    岩見沢駅近くの岩見沢ターミナルからバスで15分ほど。ただしバスの本数は少ない。 丘陵地に設けられた広大な公園で、遊園地(北海道グリーンランド)、キャンプ場、科学館などがあり、冬場にはスキー場も開設されるようである。園内にあるバラ園を見学するために訪れたが、残念ながら8月はバラ開花のすき間の時期だったのでわずかな花しか見ることができなかった。
