The shop is famous for its pork, beef, and wild boar meat carefully marinated in a secret recipe miso sauce by skilled hands. The shop also sells various cuts of meat over the counter as well as fried food and other sides. The shop's handmade menchi-katsu breaded mincemeat cutlets are particularly popular.

    週末に何回か行ったが、肉屋は開いていても揚げ物も販売は昼頃からのようだ。 何時頃から販売すると揚げ物コーナーに看板が出ているので、タイミングを合わせていけば揚げたてが食べられる。メンチカツ100円、コロッケ、ハムカツ50円。昔の味がする。ソースもい置いてあるので、その場でも食べられます。

Other fine items you'd only get at a butcher shop like this include their Hiraoka Mama no Menchikatsu meat cakes made with Japanese pork and beef, nothing frozen or imported, as well as their Sanuki-no-honetsuki-dori (chicken-on-the-bone) roast chicken.

    SNS等で必ず出てくるコロッケが有名な肉屋さん。参拝の帰りに立ち寄り購入、食べたいのをグッと堪え、駅コンビニでビールを買い特急電車内で食べた。サクサクの衣、ホクホクのジャガイモ、ジューシーなお肉、ビールとも相性が良く評判通り大変美味しゅうございました。
